Hiya! My name is Jessica Lantern. I’m the spirit of Halloween- well, one of them at least. The most known spirit is Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King. Both of us work together to create the most horrible Halloween we can each year. Himself and his townsfolk create the scares, candy and pranks, while I make sure that everyone has a fun and safe Halloween. I also help around making spiderwebs, jack-o-lanterns, and potions with Sally, Jack’s wife. So basically, I’m one of the guardians of Halloween. When I found out about it, I was freaked out. But after thinking about it, and a certain devil helping me with my decision, I became one of the spirits of Halloween. Since Jack and I are both spirits of Halloween, he allowed me to live in Halloweentown. The townsfolk made me a black and red house that is slightly big for just one person, but I’m not complaining. Also, my house isn’t that far from Oogie Boogie’s treehouse, which is now the three trick-or-treaters treehouse. Since Oogie Boogie was ‘killed’, the three pranksters became good, even if they still pull pranks here and there. Jack and I allow them to help us, since they love pranks and tricks, they help us in that topic. But I’ve noticed, that one certain devil is helping me most of the time. If I only knew that that certain devil had fell for me when we first met.
