It was a beautiful spring day. The sky bright blue,  the grass was a lushous green. The sun shone, the cherry blossom trees were in bloom and there wasn't another person in the park. The only sound was the two boys' foot steps.

"Do you mind if we stop here for a minute?" Taehyung asked.
"Sure, I can take some take some pictures of the lake." Jungkook replied taking out his phone and getting the camera up.

They walked over to the lake and Jungkook started taking a few pictures. "The blossom looks so nice this time of year. You chose a really pretty place to go. We don't go on walks like this often,  what's the occasion? It's not our anniversary is it?" Jungkook asked, worried he had forgotten.
"No, it's not our anniversary, don't worry. We've still got about eight months until that." Taehyung said with a laugh at Jungkook's sudden panick.

The boys stood there for a while holding hands. Jungkook felt Taehyung let go and looked at him confused. Taehyung stepped back and kneeled down on one knee. He got something out of his back pocket but kept it hidden behind him.

"I remember 2 years ago. I saw a beautiful boy. His skin was a milky white tone, his eyes were a dark brown. He had short raven hair and long eyelashes. I remember he was wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans and Timberlands. He was shy and quiet. He had a beautiful voice and laugh and the cutest smile I've ever seen. I met him when our band was first formed with five other boys. He was the youngest of us, I felt like I needed to protect him from any harm. I thought I had fallen for him. Our hyungs helped me to gather enough courage to confess to him. It turned out he had fallen for me as well. I asked him out on a date and he said yes. Eighteen dates later and here we are. The first time I saw you I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you." Jungkook smiled from ear to ear. "Jeon Jungkook," Taehyung said and revealed what he had been hiding behind  his back, "Will you marry me?" He finished and opened the little blue box. The inside was a deep blue velvet and in the middle was a carefully placed silver ring with a small diamond decoraring it.

Jungkook almost fell back with shock at the proposal. He covered his mouth with his hands and stumbled backwards. Tears rolled rolled down his face in joy. He didn't know what to say, he just stood there and slowly nodded his head a bit too violently because it gave him a headache, but he didn't care. Taehyung stood up and carefully slid the ring on to his, now, fiance's fragile finger. Jungkook leapt onto Taehyung and squeezed him as tightly as he could.

"K-kookie, I need air." Taehyung managed to say. "Oops, sorry." Jungkook said letting go of the older. "Come on, tell the other's" Taehyung said once he had got his breath back. The two walked out of the park and back too the dorm, hand in hand.

"Wait a minute!" Jungkook shouted as they were walking through the park. "Did you say HAD a beautiful voice and you NEEDED to protect him!!!??? What about now???!" Jungkook playfully punched him and Taehyung just laughed and hugged the younger. "Of course you still have a beautiful voice and of course I still need to protect you. Saranghae." Jungkook smiled and hugged him back.

"Your beautiful Jeon Jungkook. Just like this spring day."
