“Hyung has a boyfriend, and we have a boyfriend too, Kookie!” Taehyung pecked Jungkook’s cheek, face turning a bright red. “We can all go on a date! Kookie and I, along with Jin hyung and his candy boy!”

“Candy boy? I like that.”

Foreword

The sound of the whirring of wind drifted through the air, and came to the ears of a certain brunette. The man’s gaze bore rather glumly outside. He hadn’t had the greatest day at work. His coworker hadn’t done anything to help him with the business, which made the day feel rather long, even though it was only nine-o’clock in the morning at the time. A small size escaped his lips, just at the thought of the incident that had occurred so early in the morning.

His gaze fell from the tracks outside, to the watch that was around his wrist. “Six-twenty seven.” He mumbled, voice sounding hoarse. He had yelled far too much that day alone, and the day prior weren’t that great either. For nearly a month he had yelled at his coworker, yet they never seemed to get the memo that they were there to work, and not to dilly dally on their cell phone. The man however, could relate somewhat. When he was that young he could never put his phone down, not even for a second. He was too busy with those on the internet that he barely cared for those that were in his actual life.

“Excuse me sir, may I join you?”

The brunette looked over at the open compartment door. His eyes looked over the blonde that stood just a few feet ahead of him. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary with the boy. “Why not.” He stated, motioning the younger boy in. “Just make sure that you shut the door. Those outside can be rather noisy, and sometimes very vulgar.”

“Ah, will do!” The blonde pushed the door shut, and immediately afterwards took a seat on the bench directly across from the older man. His gaze at first bore out into the scenery just beyond the train, but soon averted towards the other man. He had never seen such a beauty up close before, and that was making his heart skip a couple beats. He tilted his head as he noticed the dark circles that were just under the other man’s eyes. “Tiring day?” He asked, feeling sorrowful at the thought that such a beautiful man could possibly have such a horrid day.

“More like a tiring month.” The brunette chuckled, eyes closing for a fragment of a second, bringing the weariness back to his body. “It’s been okay though. It could always be worse.” He inhaled rather sharply, trying to shock his system with the oxygen, and hopefully waking himself up a bit more.

“I’m sorry.” The blonde replied, sending the older man a small smile. “It should soon get better though. All of your hard work should eventually pay off.”

“That is true.” The brunette replied, nodding his head in agreement. His gaze left the younger for a fraction of a second, before returning to stare into those beautiful blue eyes. ”Now,” He began. “-what about you? Do you work?”

“Me?” The blonde chuckled a little bit. “My parents believe that it is unfit for me to work. They say that someone of our bloodline should never even think of such a thing. However, I find working rather enjoyable. Have you ever heard of the sweet shop near the mall?” He paused for a second, only continuing once he had received a small nod from the brunette. “Well that is where I work. If you ever want to stop by, I can give you a discount.” With that said, he sent the latter a small wink, and exited the compartment, for his stop had arrived.

The brunette sat still, gaze still locked on the seat that the blonde had once sat. He had never gotten such an invite as that, so he had no idea how to react. Should he visit the young boy at the shop? Or should he stay far away from the shop? His mind pondered on the subject for a little while longer, until his phone rang and any thought of the encounter slipped from his mind entirely.

“Hyung! Jungkook tried to flush my plushy again!” A little boy about the age of ten ran into the room, eyes glinting with tears and a little bit of anger. He jumped at the brunette that had just walked through the door, and wrapped his chubby little arms around his leg.

“Taehyung! You can’t do that! At one point you’re going to hurt yourself!” The brunette removed the young boy from his leg, and knelt down so they were eye level. “Now please tell me what happened this time?” He asked, internally groaning. He could never arrive home in a peaceful manor after work. There was always drama happening between the younger boys that lived with him.

“I was playing with my plushy, and Jungkook wanted to play too. I let him play with my plushy, but when I told him that I wanted to play with it, since it is my plushy, he ran into the bathroom and dropped it in the toilet! I asked him why he did it, but he didn’t tell me!”

The brunette let out a long sigh. This was the one reason why he hated to return home. “Where was Namjoon when all of this happened?” He already had a guess as to where the babysitter was. The answer was always the same thing.

“He was in the living room, playing with Pichi.”

“Of course he was.” With a soft groan, the man stood up, and walked in the direction of the living room. “Namjoon.” He called, gaze landing on the said man’s form. “You need to start watching the boys. Jungkook nearly-”

“He nearly flushed the plushy again. I already know. He told me that he was going to do it.”

“If he told you, then why did you allow him to do it?”

“Listen Seokjin, our mind sets are different. You focus on work, and I focus on lessons. I allowed Jungkook to do as he pleased, so in the end he knew that it was wrong. Kids learn from actions, rather than us telling them what they can, and cannot do. He flushed the plush once again, and the guilt has already sunk in. He came to me crying, telling me that he felt horrible because of his action. He even confessed as to why he flushed the plushy in the first place. The important thing is that he learned from his actions, rather than being curious as to what would happen if I told him no.”

“Why did I hire a philosopher?” The brunette shook his head, and stalked out of the room. He loved how intelligent Namjoon was, but when it came to taking care of the younger boys everything went downhill. He pushed open the first door nearest to the living room, and peered into the room. “Jungkook?” He called, gaze meeting the lump in the said boys blankets.

“Jungkook, can you please tell me why you flushed Taehyung’s plushy? I won’t yell at you, I promise. I just want to know why you thought you had to do it.”

“He likes the plushy more than me.” The boys voice was quiet, nearly a whisper. “We were having fun, but he wanted the plushy more. When I went to hand it to him, he told me that he liked the dumb toy more than me. That is was a lot funner than me. I hate that stupid toy.”

Seokjin’s jaw dropped. Many people that had visited the home told him that Jungkook like Taehyung, but he never thought that it was true. He shook his head, clearing his mind somewhat from the thoughts. “Taehyung told me that he likes you more. You don’t have to worry. He may like his plushy, but he will always like you more.”

A small sniffle sounded from under the blanket, and slowly a head popped out from underneath. A red eyed boy slowly sat up, streaks of dry tears caking his cheeks. “Really?” He asked, voice cracking lightly. “Did he really tell you that?”

The man chuckled a little. “Yes, he did in fact tell me that.” He reached a hand out, and lightly patted the boys head. “Don’t take it from me though. Why don’t you go ask Taehyung yourself?”

    “I will!”

Seokjin watched the younger boy as he hopped up from the bed, and rushed out of the room. He was happy that he could help the two get over their small feud, especially if the boys could become closer than before.

“Hyung!!” A shrill voice screamed, breaking the man out of his trance. He groaned, and slowly followed the screams.

“You two can pick out anything you would like. Nothing too big now. You guys are pretty small still.” The brunette ushered the younger boys to look around the small shop. It took a rather large amount of courage, but after weeks of thought, he finally entered the sweet shop that had been in his thoughts ever since his encounter with the young boy on the train.

“Taehyung! I’m pretty sure that you’ll like this one! You did say that you liked strawberry!”

The man looked around the small shop as well. In his mind, he thought it rude if he did not buy something himself. He stopped in front of a small lollipop stand. There was many flavors that he had never seen before, probably test flavors just to see if they could be popular or not. His gaze landed on the familiar pink wrapper of the shortcake lollipop. He liked all flavors, but the shortcake always tickled his taste buds.

He reached a hand out, and plucked the small item out from its place with the other flavors. He walked over in the direction that he could hear the younger boys, and stopped when he seen the two. He opened his mouth to speak, but closed it afterwards. He found the two boys cute, especially because they both were trying their utmost hardest to choose a sweet for the other. It was when the two shifted, that the man could finally see the twos interlocked hands.

“They’re very cute.” A voice whispered from just behind the brunette. “Out of every group that has ever entered this shop, I’m pretty sure you three are the cutest.”

The brunette turned around, gaze meeting that of the blonde that he had seen on the train just some weeks ago. “It’s you.” He murmured, voice sounding soft as he spoke.

“Of course it’s me. Who else would have invited you here? Speaking of which, I’ve been waiting for you. Normally people would have arrived just the next day, but not you. You arrive just weeks later. I was kind of disappointed when I didn’t see you, but now I know why. You’ve been busy.” The blonde sent the other man a wink.

“They’re not mine.” The brunette replied almost immediately. “They just live with me.”

“I’ve never heard that before. They just live with me.” The younger of the two giggled a little. “But seriously, who’s the mother?”

“Again, they’re not mine. We just simply live together.”

“That seems a little different, but aright. Anyway, I was just teasing you. You seem a little young to have children of your own, let alone a wife.”

“A wife seems a little difficult.” The brunette muttered, a look of disgust adorning his features. He never felt that females were what he wanted. He thought that they were very beautiful, but they just weren’t what he wanted for a relationship.

“I’m with you. The girls these days only want rich men to buy them whatever the hell they want.” The blonde grimaced, hating that he had to pretend in front of the older man. He hated himself for being afraid, but it was only natural for someone like him to be a little afraid to tell a nearly complete stranger something that took him so long to figure out himself. “Now, I didn’t ask before, but what’s your name?”

    “Kim Seokjin, and you?”

    “Park Jimin.”

“Well, Jimin, I couldn’t help but realize that you dropped the honorifics once we met in this shop.”

The blonde’s cheeks turned a fiery red. He had not noticed that he had stopped treating the other man that he was older than him. “I apologize. That was completely my-”

“See! Boys can like boys Kookie! Look at hyung! He has a boyfriend!”

Seokjin’s eyes widened at Taehyung’s words. “Taehyung!” He hollered face flaming with embarrassment and annoyance. “You can’t just-”

“That’s me! Your hyung’s boyfriend. Always remember, you boys can be together just like us. No matter what anyone else says, you two can do whatever your heart’s desire. If that’s being together, then so be it.” The blonde wrapped an arm around the other man’s waist, and pecked his cheek lightly. “Honestly I invited you here just because I thought you need some sweetness in your day, but in the end I just confessed. Life is so mysterious.”

“You’re such an idiot. I could be straight for all you know.”

    “No. Seokjin hyung’s gay.”

“Yeah! He talked about a blonde boy a lot at home. It was always, blah blah blah he’s so cute, and blah blah blah I should visit him at his shop.”

Jimin let out a string of giggles. “I guess we both couldn’t stop talking about each other. I annoyed my sister to the point where she slept at a friend’s house for nearly a week.”
