Description
I'm Min Jiyeon. Freshman, A+ student and student role model. I don't know what happened that got the school's most popular head over heels for me, but I remember turning around and it just happening.
Believe me, if I had a choice it would be to blend in like the rest of everyone. But, coming from the family that I do, that just isn't possible.
Remember how I said I was Min Jiyeon? Well, to some — most people, that's an important last name. I am the younger sister of Min Yoongi, the well-known senior at my high school and heir to Highlight Entertainment.
Highlight Entertainment Inc. is a relatively new entertainment company taking in trainees to become idols. They're trying to piece together a new girl group of seven members, so girls here try to be "besties" with me so they can be recommended.
Needy, right?
At least, that's why I only have a few real friends in my life. Kim Dahyun, Chou Tzuyu, Park Jihyo, and Park Jimin. They're my moral support and I'm theirs. I love them so much.

Foreword
"I said the answer is no, Jeon Jungkook," said Jiyeon stubbornly.
"What if I told you I could change your mind?" Jungkook smirked.
"I wouldn't believe you," she scowled. "You can't be trusted."
He chuckled, "Did your brother tell you that?"
"No. I don't need him for everything," she rolled her eyes.
"Then go out with me," said Jungkook, his lips.
"Never," she snapped.
"That's what they all say," he sighed. "I'll have you soon enough."
"In your dreams," she said curtly. "As if I'd go out with you."
"Tell that to me on our fifth date."
"Fifth date! I won't even go out on one!" said Jiyeon furiously.
"In your dreams," he mocked. "You will be mine."
"If pretty boy think so," she said in a baby tone, batting her eyelashes and sticking her bottom lip out.
"Ugh. Women," Jungkook ended, sauntering off.
