hello :)

krystal15 here. this are just my portfolio that are consists of posters, backgrounds and banners that i've done since i open my own graphic shop.

i once requested posters from many shop and sometimes the result are so astonishing and there are also times where the result is just so-so. then, a thought came across my mind...

"what if i learn how to do posters and create my own poster which are to my likings?"

but at that moment, i don't even know how to use photoshop! all those tiny tools on the left, below, right, above are so freaking cute yet i don't think i could discover its own functions.

still, i tried. i took a class on how to do posters by my own classmate and i got my own photoshop. i seemed to know well what are the tools for and how to use it. everything came in handy at the moment.

until i feel like i can now do posters...

so, i tried my luck and applied to be a designer at many shops but my application got turned down due to my lack of skills on how to blend the pictures, adding effects and whatsoever.

i was at the verge of giving up but i realized, as i was doing those posters, i've never felt tired. not even once! i felt happy and content. and i thought...

"ah... so this is how passion feels like."

yes. i finally found my own passion with a lot of patience. so, instead of giving up, i get up and tried watching as many tutorials as i can until i picked up everything pretty well on how to use photoshop properly.

and starting from there, i got a lot of recognition from my friends, from my family, from my classmates, from my roomates and even from you all!

it felt so good to find my other passion aside from dancing and everytime i did anyone's request, i would use my all because i don't want them to feel...

"this is not like what i imagine... it should be better than this."

i tried my really best to keep on their imagination turns into reality in the poster. like it was as if the poster could talk on how the story would flow. therefore, if there are any posters that doesn't suit to their liking, i would apologize for it and redo for free. because, maybe at that moment, i'm busy or tired.

anyway, i'm glad at how far i've come. it was a great journey indeed ^^

and i will continue on developing more skills on how to create a better poster >v<

Below are my skills. I'm not good at Romcom, light, comedy, fluffy simply because I don't know how to bring the fluffiness or the romcom vibes in the poster xD As for ... yeah, I can do it but not to some extreme kind of posters where there would be bodies in it. I'll just put some vibe in the poster to indicate it's actually a story xD

Your portfolio is awesome! Even the ones u say are not good look amazing to me. I'm learning to make posters now and I was amazed when I visited timelapse graphics shop for the first time. And even the layouts you use are awesome. Do u make your own layouts? Seeing the layouts u use, make me want to learn how to use them too. And your posters are a great inspiration for me. Love you <333

I like the style and the colors. I can say it's an old one. I guess you weren't as experienced while you did this, it shows. But certainly, the colors and the style is one of the best and you were creative even with the little experience you had! All of them are awesome, but this one caught my eye xD ;)

You are such a great designer and one of my favourite as well. I really love your style and your taste especially in choosing colours to match with the mood. I just read your trivia up there and I was like, "hmm, I really need to be motivated as her too and learn more!". I really love graphics but because I have no laptop/any device to do it or even to learn it, I push away that little dream of mine despite I really, really love designing! Recently, I got myself a sponsor for a new laptop and maybe this is actually a sign for me to learn photoshop, maybe? I know it's gonna take time to be as good as you but I'll try to be more passionate about it. Thank you for sharing!!
