*Six months later*

'Jungkook?' Taehyung asked, turning to look at Jungkook who was sitting next to him on the couch.

'Yeah?' Jungkook replied, not taking his attention away from the tv screen.

'What are we?' Jungkook hesitated, turning towards Taehyung, not sure how to respond. 

'Friends?' The look on Taehyung's face was unsatisfied. 

'Brothers?' Jungkook could see Taehyung still wasn't satisfied. The corners of Taehyung's mouth had turned down ever so slightly but his eyes were thoughtful. 

Taehyung leaned in and kissed Jungkook on the mouth. Jungkook froze at first, but then kissed back. The sensation was curious but pleasant, they both could feel warmth bubbling up through their body and pouring into the kiss. They broke the kiss, gasping for breath. 

'Jungkook?' Taehyung said.

'Yeah?' Jungkook asked, still a little breathless.

'Can we be together?' Jungkook could only nod.
