Seongwoo had hoped. Seongwoo had hoped that finally, maybe, Daniel would be able to spend time with him. Because it's been days, weeks, in fact, since they last talked, and Seongwoo is desperate to talk to his dongsaeng,  even if that means it will be on camera, for everyone to hear.

But the way Daniel chews quietly on his food doesn't sit well with Seongwoo. He had thought Daniel would be a bit livelier, happier, cracking jokes and talking about his cats. Rather, Daniel seems to be thinking about something, and Seongwoo kind of feels awkward, because maybe he's the only one who enjoyed their day so far.

'Niel-ah,' Seongwoo begins, blatantly aware of the crew turning the camera towards them, whispering between themselves, 'we still have a bit of money left. Is there anything you'd like to do after?' Maybe letting Daniel choose their next activity will help the younger loosen up, because Seongwoo hates seeing his dongsaeng's shoulders looking extremely tense.

There's a small smile thrown his way, and Seongwoo tries to ignore the fluttering in his stomach and the pounding of his heart, hopes his cheeks aren't turning red.

'I'm sorry Seongwoo-ah...' Daniel sighs, and Seongwoo unconsciously clenches his hands into fists. 'I have to leave right after we eat. I need to go film for the MBC show...' he trails off, and Seongwoo feels his heart sink, wills himself not to cry, because this had been his first chance in ages to hang out with Daniel, and it had to be ruined because of some variety show.
