Today my parent will come to visit us as well as to announce about our new project with Kim family so they will come at tonight gathering as well. It was held at one of our prestigious hotel in city center, with different businessmen and women come to join either to promote their businesses or buying/selling products. They wouldn’t afford to miss this opportunity since two of the biggest companies such as Jung-Hwang and Kim is hosting.

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It’s my greatest honor to be a host for one of the biggest-yet gatherings throughout the year, this time we are very pleased to present you our guest, Jung Jessica” the MC announced as my mother gracefully makes her way to the stage wearing strapless white dress with minimized styling but the jewelry makes her stand out with her curly dyed-blonde hair fall freely

“Wow I don’t believe your mom is in her 40s at all” Sowon said, chuckling near me. She wears simple blue dress at her knee length allowed people to see her long slander legs, hair up in bun.

“I doubt she’s aging at all” I replied chuckles as well.

“Where is Eunha and Yuju? I don’t see them since I’ve arrived”

“Yuju unnie probably checking around and Eunha unnie I don’t know, she gone as soon as we arrived here.” Both of them abandoned me ever since we got here and mother is busy with her preparation, thankfully I have Sowon unnie accompanied.

“Good evening everyone, thank you for taking time to attend this gathering, it is very welcome for our corporation as we are from foreign country. We started here with the support of our partner, Kim Corporation. In this grant occasion we, Jung and Kim family pleased to announce the lunching a new project that we plan for the past months called Jumping. This project will create thousand job opportunity for Korean population with our resorts and restaurant chain.” Umma paused giving smile to the crowd as they clap for her “…there are one more delightful news that I’m going to announce tonight that Jung and Kim family will become closer with both our heiresses’ marriage.”

The hall become silent suddenly trying to digest the information before another round of applause heard throughout the hall. Say what!!??!??!!!

I look at Sowon unnie and mom back and fore, mouth hanging open

“Say what??!!” Sowon’s unnie reaction is not different from mine, she just chooses to say it out loud

“Eunha, so you telling me that you had known this even before it’s was announced?” I stared at the bob hair girl in front of me. We gathered at the living room together as usual with Yuju unnie watching TV, not caring about the world around her while I’m interrogating Eunha unnie, sort of.

“Yes, is something wrong? And it’s Eunha unnie for you” Eunha unnie said casually like it was everyday topic about brushing teeth every morning

“UNNIE!!! Mom just agreed to marry me off to someone when I had no clue at all!” Mom already flew back to States even before I can throw tantrum on her, I will need to wait more hours before I can call her.

“But you and Sowon are getting along just fine, I don’t see the problem here” I clicked my inside mouth, spotting Yuju chewing her popcor
