Si Jin feels the weight of the world slowly melt from his shoulders as he finally gazes upon his two beautiful angels for the first time in three Weeks. Mo Yeon is peacefully asleep, their 4 month old daughter snuggled close to her chest, Mo Yeon's right arm encircling her protectively. Major Yoo carefully removes his gear one by one, avoiding making too much noise. He is down to his green undershirt and in the process of removing his pants when he drops them on the floor, making a loud sound,

* clank! *

His wife stirs and opens her eyes, squinting them to see better with only the dim moonlight from the bedroom window illuminating the room.

"Si Jin?"

she whispers, motioning to get up from the bed when her husband stops her

"Shh.. . Love, it's me."

Mo Yeon feels the right side of the bed dip slightly with his weight. He moves closer to her while maintaining eye contact and finally, soft lips land on hers, Si Jin giving her a gentle kiss.

"I'm home."

he utters softly, not breaking eye contact. Acting from instinct, Mo Yeon immediately scans her husband's face for injuries, cupping his face with her hands when he reaches for both her hands and puts them down to his chest.

"I'm not injured anywhere, Dr. Kang. I promise. "

he says as he kisses her palms.
Mo Yeon softly nods, her eyes watering. She tries to hide her tears by fanning her eyes.

"I-I'm sorry, I'm just so happy..."

She says, choked up.

"...you're back"

"I am, love. Shh... I'm here"

Si Jin consoles his wife. He gets into a trance as he caresses Mo Yeon's hair; unwelcome memories flooding his consciousness.

Flashback

"What is the UN radio code?!"

*Sniper shot rings*

"You wanna die?!"

*Bomb blasts*

The young couple spends their time in each other's arms. No words were spoken. Just the sound of each other's calm breathing was enough.

Soon, Mo Yeon starts feeling small movements on her left side, accompanied by soft whimpers.

"Looks like someone's awake..."
