Ji Eun easily weaves in between them to make her way back in the living room, leaving the two boys alone, probably on purpose. 

Jungkook follows her for a while, before realizing she truly disappeared from his sight and the only thing left to do now is come back to the one still waiting outside the house’s entrance. 

Jungkook exhales. He looks at Taehyung. 

« Hi. How are you ? »

Taehyung is literally taken aback by the question. He takes a small step backwards, eyes wide open, not really knowing what to answer. 

« I’m… good. I’m good.

- Good.

- Yeah. You ?

- I’m good too.

- Perfect.

- Perfect. »

Jungkook doesn’t know what to do. He is freaking out, frozen on his two feet, not able to speak correctly or do anything worth more than a weather update or a too much used catch phrase. 

« I’m happy you came. »

Taehyung stares at Jungkook. 

« You are ? »

‘What is this question ?’

Jungkook nods, finding back his high school’s youth in an instant, and the shyness with it. 

Taehyung nods also, feeling as nervous as the other is, straightening himself up to dare what he wants to see since the beginning, since so many years.
