hello, i received word that many members in the roleplay have been disabled. thank you, anonymous reporter, very much for doing good work on facebook.com and reporting people who using it as a means to roleplay! facebook.com is a social media platform for people using their real life profiles to connect to their real life friends. you doing this was extremely crucial to facebook.com's continued success as a social media platform! many people are becoming extremely distraught when seeing people who... might not be real people? i know how that feels. i saw a roleplaying profile on facebook.com once and i cried. it was so shocking! why... why would anyone want to do that? and i felt an urge to... stop this violation of facebook.com's good policies. i took a deep breath, and i calmed my shaking hand. i moved the mouse. i hovered. i pressed 'report'. and my heart felt so heavy! i felt so guilty for a second. but then it ended.
and i know what you're thinking - why ruin a bit of good fun? there's no harm in this. literally none! your oppas and unnies probably don't speak english, and they're not going to go looking for profiles with their faces of them with display names in different languages, all friends with each other and speaking english. facebook.com continues to earn money from advertising! but no.
i know better. and soon, with all your roleplaying accounts disabled, i hope you will all be able to move away from this frivolous 'fun' you have. make a REAL facebook profile. add REAL friends. i just want to say - some of you might be upset about being 'disabled.' but step away from yourself. in the 20th century, could you be 'disabled'? no, because your contacts were written in a paper contacts book! my friends, this reporter has done you a great service! now, away from your smart-phones and facebooks, you can now breathe fresh air. eat some vegetables. touch a tree. see the sunlight. play with some ants.
just like the good old days.
