“We are Blackpink.”

            That was the introduction they did in the awards. They have in music industry for almost five years. Blackpink became bigger, and tonight is another night they got called to accept an award. That place was backstage, where every idol is ready to show their performance. There are so many guests there. It’s nothing new for them. Five years, they learn so much about being an Idol.

            They said the career of an Idol will not last long. They understand it well because since they debuted, there are so many groups that disband. That word was scary for Rose. She wanted to stay in that stage longer. She loves every single thing that occurs with her three members. They already accepted their awards, and they walked to the backstage.

            As always, Rose will be the only one who lost from them. Rose was late to follow her members. She finally walked alone in that crowded hallway. Everyone was so busy to prepare the next performance. Rose decided to stop and saw someone is ready to perform. She knew that person, but maybe he didn’t really care her presence.

            He is the soloist who just released his first album since he was in the group.

            “Get ready, the next performance, Park Jimin-ssi.”

            Rose knew him. Of course, who is not known him until today? Since the success of Bangtan Boys, one by one they decided to release a solo album. Until today, Jimin is the most successful from other members. Only from far away, Rose watched that man. He’s ready to perform with the attribute and staff gave a signal form him. In seconds, he went to the stage. The place which was quiet before finally filled with scream for Park Jimin. Rose stoned in that place.

            She heard it very well, the fans’ scream.

            “Rose!” Someone reach her shoulder and made her surprise. Lisa was coming after her, “Come one, everyone is looking for you, Rose. We have to go back for the next schedule.”

            Rose nodded. She followed Lisa from behind. They’re in hurry because tonight they need to go back to Seoul. They need to perform in another event. They didn’t need a long time to meet the other member. They got into the car and went to the airport. Finally inside the car, they can relax after so many things they did today.

            “What a busy day.” Jennie took a long breath.

            “I can’t wait to go back to Seoul and take a rest.”

            Jisoo reply, “There’s another schedule waiting for us, guys.”

            “Yup.”

            After they arrived at the airport, their manager moved quickly to take care of their password and ticket. Blackpink walked so fast to the airport with their bag. That day, there are no fans in the airport, maybe no one think they will go back at that time. They walked together to enter the airport until the manager scream out loud because she was surprised.

            “We didn’t have Rose’s ticket? How can this be? You didn’t check it twice, did you?” Their manager started to raise her voice and yell at the staff that brought Blackpink’s stuff.

            The staff kept apologizing to the manager. He didn’t understand why he was negligent. Blackpink still didn’t know about this situation. Their manager took a long breath and quickly holds them from entering the airport.

            “We are in an emergency situation right now. One of the staff lost Rose’s ticket. So, for now, only three of you can go.” The manager explains everything to them.

            Of course they were surprised to hear that. To lose one of the members is so fatal of course, especially the have to perform in the morning. Their schedule is so tight for tomorrow, but this problem came. Manager gave a short explanation and hold Rose, because she can’t enter without ticket. She waves her hands to the members, and tomorrow will be hard to explain Rose’s situation.

            “I will accompany you here. We will wait for the staff to search the fastest airplane for you from Hong Kong to Seoul.” Rose nodded. She saw her members already passed the security checks.

            Manager asked her to wait, and she left Rose alone to come after the staff in ticket counter. Rose was looking around and searching for a place to sit. She took her phone to send a message to her members. They were upset because Rose can’t go with them, and so was Rose. She finally took a long sigh.

            Rose kept browsing in her hand phone to keep on an update from the awards before. She looked at the news that made her shocked.

            [HEADLINE] PARK JIMIN WON THE DAESANG FOR HIS SOLO ALBUM!

            [HOT] ALBUM OF THE YEAR WENT TO BANGTAN BOYS’ PARK JIMIN!

            And with that, in instant, her phone showed a pop-up message from Line. Rose was surprised to see the message. What she never guesses before became real, and Rose is afraid of that.

            From Jimin :

                        I finally got the album of the year, Rose.

            Rose didn’t try to open the message. She stopped looking at the phone and kept thinking about everything that that will happen to her. In five minutes, Jimin sent another message to her.

            From Jimin :

                        Rose, I know you see this message right now. You are not on the plane.

            After seeing an unexpected message from him, Rose started to panic. She never thought that Jimin plans all this. How can he know she’s not on the plane? Is he the one who made her lost the ticket? But, how?

            Because Rose didn’t reply any of his messages, he called. Rose hesitated to answer his call. But, if she runaway again this time, she believes everything will never end. With shaking hands, Rose touches the green button and answers his call, “Hello, Jimin.”

            “Rose.” The gentle voice was calling her name.

            “Jimin, I’m sorry.” There’s a cry in that voice.

            She had thought it all down before, but she did not think that Jimin gave such a quick decision for now.

            “I will do it, Rose.”

            “No, please! I’m just kidding that time. Jimin, please don’t.” Rose tried to beg him.

            “Listen to me, Rose, you are the one I chose right now. Please accept me this time.”

            Rose was crying to hear those words. She thought she can decide it now, but, only this man who runs after her this far. Rose didn’t sure whether this will work or not.

            Two months before

            Every five years, YG’s artist contract will come to end and they will discuss to renew it. And for this year is Blackpink’s member turn to choose. They promised to renew their contract. But, Rose can only lie to them all. She holds another desire in her heart. She decided to not continue her career as Blackpink’s member.

            In that day, one by one they got called alone by their boss about their continuation in the contract. In the group chat, they were convincing each other that the will renew the contract. No one knows that Rose has something in her heart. When she walked inside her boss room, Rose promises to herself that she’ll honest to his boss.

            “Good afternoon, Rose.”

            “Good afternoon, sajangnim.” Her boss welcomes her. He let her take a sit. Her boss started the conversation, “So, have you decided yet?”

            She nodded her head slowly, “Yes, I have decided to not renew the contract, sajangnim.”

            “And, can I know your reason for this?”

            “I want to go back home. Mom and Dad asked me to go back to Australia. I will start my ministry again, sajangnim. I’m so grateful being a Blackpink’s member, but I think I have another call.”

            Her boss didn’t try to deny what she told to him. Rose stayed silent for his reaction.

            Right, this is what she wanted. She has thought this for long. But suddenly, those memories were coming after here, her tears started to drop to remember her times until this point. Her boss was surprised to see her tears, “I’m sorry, sajangnim. I just want to stop for now. Thank you for letting me be in Blackpink.”

            “Rose, are you really sure?”

            “Yes, sajangnim. Please, don’t tell the member for me. I don’t want them to know.”

            The tears kept falling, and she remembered that she already sure about everything. Rose wipes up her tears and saw a smile from her boss, “Where ever you go, I wish for your success, Rose.”

            “Thank you, sajangnim.”

            Because Jin was already thirty years old, so he has to serve in the army like every man in South Korea. Bangtan Boys stopped their activity as a group. This time, they started to do their solo activities. For this time, Jimin got a chance to go solo. The big promotion had Big Hit did for it.

            It was almost eight years he debut with Bangtan Boys, and there are so many things that occur. They grew up together for years. Every achievement was amazing for their life. But, in other side, Jimin got a different view for his life. In his 27th age, of course he felt like he has to do something.

            Seoul is so big for him; he saw his surroundings from behind the car. His journey this time took him to place him always visit. The car stopped, and Jimin walked out from the car. That place didn’t draw so much attention; it was a very simple house with kind people. At there, Jimin decided to spend his time. And, in that place too, Jimin wished every kid will have hope and dream for the future.

            From countless time he came to that place, those kid will welcome him warmly, but this time everyone was in the middle hall. He heard voice from them, the laughs and claps. He heard a song was played, and the voice was really sweet. He never heard that voice from here before. Jimin walked quickly to open the door.

            In the middle, someone was singing a song, “For you who has born in winter.”

            What a beautiful voice, the smile, with those fingers which played the guitar, Jimin was in awe of it. He enjoys the song so much. Even there’s no eyes that can’t let go from singer, and Jimin decided to walk more closely. He was familiar with the person who sang in the middle of the kids.

            “Rose.”

            He recognized that woman, the beauty with sweet voice, even her beauty just like her heart. When she finished her song, the loud claps fill the hall, and including the claps from Jimin. The kids suddenly run and hug her. To be honest, this is the first time he saw Rose in this house. Every time he visits, he never met Rose even once, but from how those kids hug her, Jimin understand that Rose is so close with them.

            Jimin walked closer and Rose finally realizes his presence. She let go the hug and gave him greetings, “Jimin-sunbae, good afternoon.”

            “I never thought that a girl group member will be in this place.” Jimin gave a comment.

            “Isn’t that more surprising to see you here, sunbae?” Rose gave answer to Jimin.

            This is not the first for them to meet. Entertainment world is so wide, and it was coincidence for them to meet here. This house, It’s a hospital for kids. They have so many different so story about their self. But, in this house, they got hope for their days even though the reality is not that beautiful. No one really sure about what will this kids go through tomorrow.

            “So tell me, how long you’ve been coming to this place, Rose?”

            They decided to take a sit. And that was the first question that Jimin gave to her. Rose answer it surely, “It’s been six months I guess.”

            “Wah, it’s been a long time, but why I never meet you?” Jimin asked her again.

            “Actually, I have seen you here before, but I just saw you went out. Maybe, it’s because our different schedule?” Rose gave him explanation while touching her own hands.

            Jimin looked at her, “I see.”

            “Do you often come here, sunbae?” Rose started to more formal in her words.

            “You can say that, but I started to come here since two months ago.”

            Rose took a glance at him. She catches his eyes went to the kids who were playing, “They’re so cheerful, right?”

            “Yes, they remind me of how I am in the past.”

            Rose smiled to hear Jimin’s word, because that’s how she felt when she was in this house. Their dreams are so beautiful, and it’s like a dream that she want to be true. Rose looked at Jimin for seconds and gave some comment, “I believe your fans love how you are right now. Congrats for your solo debut, sunbae.”

            Jimin surprised to her words, “Thank you. You have beautiful voice, Rose-ssi, don’t you think you should go solo?”

            “I came from YG, you know that. I can’t go solo if I’m not GD.” Rose laughs a bit with her joke, “I’m just kidding. I don’t have any intention to go solo. You know, I’m not ready yet.”

            “If I can have a voice as beautiful as you, I’ll be ready anytime to become a soloist.” He praised her again.

            Rose touched with it, “Thank you, sunbaenim. I’m not sure that I can success like you.”

            “Hey, don’t be like that, Blackpink has so many fans too. You know that Jungkook is one of your fans.” Jimin saw Rose laugh a little bit to hear it.

            “But, it’s already a long time ago.”

            “Right and it’s still feel awkward to hear you calling me like that. I still remember when you called us like friend.”

            Jimin finally said it. Rose got drawn to the memory between them. Entertainment industry is never that beautiful. There are so many thing that happen and forgotten. Bangtan Boys is only six for now, and it’s the time for Blackpink to renew their contract. No one thought that time will pass by so quickly between them. Feelings? Those words never come between both groups, maybe because they want to continue their career.

            “I guess it’s become a habit again, I forget that no one will see us.” Rose laughs a little bit.

            “Well, how are your members, Rose?” Jimin asked her.

            “They’re fine.”

            “Did you renew the contract?” Jimin asked her seriously.

            Surprised with his sudden question, Rose touched her hands, felt uneasy. She tried her best to not look like it in front of Jimin. She moved her head to look at his eyes, “Of course. We are agreeing to sign it together.”

            “Are you sure, Rose?”

            That question made her silent for a moment. She’s not an easy person to lie. Even when she said yes to every member, she still can’t stop the burden in her heart. From every person who asked her the same question, only Jimin can’t make her confused. Of course, it’s because both of them have a past together. Since that event, Rose decided to stop being Blackpink’s member.

            “I’m sure.”

            She answers it and there’s no suspicious showed from Jimin’s face. They went back to silent for minutes, and Rose decided to ask what she has in her heart, “How are you? Have you let her go?”

            Why did Rose ask him that? Because they’re friend, Bangtan Boys and Blackpink are friend, so do Red Velvet and Blackpink. Jimin and Seulgi were one of the famous couple last year. They already a couple for a long time even before media brought it, but at the end, there are so many fans that didn’t accept their relationship.

            Seulgi wanted to broke up first, but Jimin didn’t want it. For Rose, they really love each other. But, that relationship didn’t last long. Until today, Rose never really knows the real reason. That day when they broke up, the person he called first was Rose. Even from every friend that close to him, he chooses to meet Rose. And without rejection, Rose went to meet Jimin. That night, he was so drunk and mess up.

            His world was crushing that night.

            “Of course, I have.”

            “That’s a relief.” Rose smiled a little bit.

            “But sometimes it’s still hurt when I see her. Despite that, my heart understands that our relationship is already end.”

            The world know that Jimin really love her that time, because they looked so happy together. Just like the world, Rose understands it too, but she always holds herself and watching from afar. The friendship between both groups just like every friendship out there, they never went more than that. Of course there’s no love between them. Is that right? Rose? It shouldn’t be any love between you and him, or it ever happens?

            “You can do it, Jimin-sunbae.”

            “To hear you call me like that, I regret the good relation we had just gone like that. I miss the time when we are friend like everybody, without feeling afraid of what people think.” Jimin spoke up.

            Rose answers it slowly, “Maybe because we really can’t go back.”

            “If I want it back, how?”

            “When we are not Bangtan Boys and Blackpink?” Rose guessed.

            Jimin nodded his head, “You’re right. If I throw out Bangtan Boys and you throw Blackpink, maybe we can speak like always.”

            “Yes, we can.”

            “If I really throw it, can we become a thing?”

            His question makes her more shocked. She understands really well what Jimin’s mean. That night when he called Rose to come, maybe everything started because of that. Rose kept avoiding Jimin since that day, because she afraid if what she has in her heart will get bigger. And right now, Jimin asked that question. Rose turned panic and she got up from her sit. She didn’t want to answer his question.

            Because Rose scared with her heart, “I thought this is the time for me to go back.” Rose started to walk, and beside her Jimin stood.

            “I’m coming to this place to search for you, Rose.” He tried to hold her step.

            Jimin succeed to do that, Rose didn’t walk anymore and turned her back to see him. She can see sincerity from his eyes, and she hates it so much. She became weak with that. Rose bowed to him to say something, “It’s nice to meet you, Jimin-sunbae.”

            And just like that, Rose runaway again like a loser.

            Jimin kept thinking to go back to that place. That house, the place that made him meets Rose once again. But, no matter how many times he came to this place. He never meet Rose anymore, even when he asked one of the workers, they never see Rose coming. For them, it’s a very rare case, because Rose will come even she has busy schedule. It didn’t mean he can’t call her, he has tried it, but it’s just not active anymore.

            Maybe just like everyone, when the friendship between Bangtan Boys and Blackpink ended, they decided to stop stay contact with each other. That big scandal was making a big wound for everyone, and right now, the one who still have the wound is Rose. She tried to end it. Jimin still felt something else in his heart since that night.

            “If Rose come again, please call me.” Jimin gave his number to the worker.

            He decided to go back with a heavy heart. Jimin walked away from the house while looking at his surrounding, he wished at least Rose will be there. But, it’s just a hopeless wish. Rose was not there. Jimin kept walking to the car. He saw his manager was there. He took sit with a long sight.

            Suddenly, his hand phone was ringing, “Hello, hyung?”

            “Jimin, something bad happen! You should go to the hospital right now! Jungkook got into accident!” The call from Suga made him panic.

            “Are serious? Where is he now?!”

            “Seoul Hospital. You have to go here, everyone is on the way to this hospital.” Suga just ended his call.

            Jimin quickly asked his manager to go to the hospital, and he became just panic. It’s happening so sudden, and he never thought this accident will happen. Jungkook was doing activities like he normally do. He has one schedule today to shot for a variety show. He should have done the shot one hour ago. Jungkook didn’t have any schedule beside that, just like every member who didn’t have schedule.

            Yes, they should be in dorm now like always. Why they have to meet there in the hospital?

            What happen to you, Jungkook?

            Maybe because they’re famous, in any seconds, the reporter showed up in the hospital. But, some staff has tried to stop them from entering the hospital. Jimin just arrived in that place and was surprised by the crowd. With his manager help, Jimin entered the place even though there’s so many people throw so many questions to him.

            “Tell us, Jimin-ssi, is he really got into an accident?”

            “Did he drive alone?”

            “Is he drunk? Did you guys have a fight?”

            Those questions are making him madder, because there’s no question that pleasant to him. Jimin moved so fast to where his manager led him. Inside that hospital, every eye stopped at Jimin. He got directed to the upstairs, the place for VIP patient. He saw one room got full security from BIG HIT staff. Jimin entered that room.

            He saw every member was inside the room, except Jin whose probably can’t come.

            And he got more surprised to see someone who was on the bed. A beautiful lady with long hair was unconscious in a very bad condition. There are wounds and bandage in her face. Jimin got more shocked with his hands moved toward his mouth. There’s no one can talk to Jimin. They just stayed silent to see the woman in the bed.

            “Rose...”

            Yes, it’s her name.

            “How can this be?” Jimin lost for words.

            No one dare to give an answer until finally, someone was opening the door, and Jimin saw Jungkook was entering the room with bandage in his hand and face. With a scared face he spoke, “Jimin-hyung, you’ve came.”

            “Jungkook, explain it to us what just happen here.” Namjoon who just saw Jungkook right now, seems mad at him.

            Jungkook got stoned in there. Right now, not only his wounds that hurt but the facts that he has to face right in front him. Jungkook is not a crybaby. Jungkook is the youngest from them all. He always is the stronger one of them all, but for this time, Jungkook isn’t like that. His heart was broken, broken to pieces. Those wet eyes, finally the tears were falling slowly.

            His lips kept trembling, “I’m sorry, hyung. I’m really sorry. Please, forgive me.”

            “Why are you crying, Jungkook? We don’t understand!” Jimin turned panic to see him cried and then fell to the floor.

            Those eyes looked so scared, he looked like a killer right now. He was trying to looked at Jimin, but he can’t hide the worry in his own eyes, “Hyung, please, forgive me. I’m sorry, hyung. I never thought this will happen to her.”

            Jimin got more panic to hear his forgiveness. He moved toward Jungkook quickly. He bends down and holds unto his shoulder tightly, trying to calm him, “Look at me! Explain to me, what is happening to Rose? Why are you crying?”

            “Rose is... hyung. I mean, she was pregnant with your child.”

            “What did you just said?!” Jimin surprised to saw his eyes which didn’t show any lie.

            “And, doctor said, the baby in her womb can’t be saved. I’m sorry, hyung.”

            Everyone was so surprised to hear his confession, no one even guess this will happen. Jimin tried to focus, and asked him once again, “Since when? Since when she was pregnant?”

            “Since two months ago.”

            Jimin finally let go of his shoulder and got up from him. He turned his body to walk closer toward the woman who was weak in the bed. Since the night they met together two months ago, Rose never called him even once. Just like her, maybe he thought that night was a mistake between two people. But, he never thought that Rose want took it alone.

            He should have held her when he met her at that house. The distance between them that got further was making this occur, the dishonesty just made the wounds got bigger. Jimin walked closer to her and started to shed a tear. A woman was trying to take the entire burden by herself, and right now, she’s unconscious in that bed. How can she hear that the baby in her womb have left her forever?
