"Maggie! Wake up! Your alarm's already been ringing repeatedly!"  I heard my mom's nagging all the way from downstairs. I stopped the alarm even if I wanted to hear more of the song. I'm a huge fan of the kpop group named NCT and my alarm's their song. I went downstairs for breakfast.

"I told you to change your alarm tone, it doesn't work on you! You tend to sleep more because you don't want to stop the song from playing!" My mom said. To be honest, my mom's right. I really tend to sleep more because I want to hear the song playing over and over again when I wake up in the morning.

I'm Maggie Jung, half-korean, half-Filipino. My dad's Korean and he's super nice but unfortunately, he died when I was 15, I'm 19 in Korean age now and I miss him a lot.

*RING RING*

"Maggie, dear! Phone!" Mom called out.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Maggie! It's me, Emma! Your online friend!"

"OMG, Emma! Hi! How are you?"

"I'm perfectly fine and I've got good news for you!! This is why I really needed to give you a call. It's an urgent matter!"

"What is it?"

"SM's having this online contest for fans all over the world, all you need to do is sign up and write an essay about how much you love NCT and guess what the prize is?"

"A trip to Korea? A VIP ticket for NCT's concert?"

"No, it's way better than what you've said. You'll get to live at NCT's dorm for one whole week! ONE DAMN WEEK!! CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE THAT?!" She was yelling at the phone and I can really sense her excitement but my heart was going to burst out of my heart already, I was already feeling the hype. I needed to go back to my room and submit an essay immediately.

"OH MY GOD, EMMA. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TELLING ME THIS. LET'S ENTER THIS CONTEST AND HOPE FOR THE BEST! NOW, LET'S WRITE OUR ESSAYS AND WISH EACH OTHER LUCK, OKAY?"

"Good luck, Maggie! I'm going to hang up now! I can't even express what I feel right now, oh my god! Byeeee!!" Then she hung up.

I immediately ran upstairs and breathed heavily. Damn, I should make this work. I SHOULD win this contest. I NEED to win. I was feeling so nervous even if I haven't written anything yet, I felt excited and pressured as well. It would be heartbreaking if I lose, but of course, I shouldn't think of  that right now. I should just focus on winning. That's right, Maggie! Let's do this!!

I read all of the mechanics on how to join the contest and it said that we could include something artistic in the file we will be submitting, I thought that maybe I should submit a video of me singing? I need to do all that I can to get this spot. The announcement will be tomorrow since the submission will only be conducted for a day. I need to do this fast.

I already filled one page while expressing how much I really adore NCT and of course, the music they make. I will start recording my song after I write my essay since this is the important thing.

"I love NCT, and I know that their other fans love them too but I promise that I will not be a bother when I'm around them and I'll do my hardest to become useful to them for a week.  I've been waiting for these boys ever since they were rookies and now that this opportunity has been given to all of us fans around the world, I'll make sure that I will not let this slip out of my hands."

I ended my essay and started setting up my camera, I've decided that I'll sing Oh My Girl's Closer since I really love what it's about. I started the music and breathed heavily.

I turned off the video and inserted it along with my essay. I was staring at the submit button, not knowing if this is already enough or if I should add more. I sighed and closed my eyes, I prayed hard. I really really wanted to win and I hope I could get to spend this amazing one week with NCT. I really wish I could get closer to all of them.

I started to imagine what it would feel like if I get to see them in person, to live with them and to actually have a long conversation with them. I bet it would be more than wonderful.

Living with Doyoung oppa, Taeil oppa, Johnny oppa, Yuta oppa, Taeyong oppa, Jaehyun oppa, Winwin oppa, Mark, and Haechan would be a dream come true for a normal fan like me. I would really like to cook for them, and I'd like to teach Mark how to cook as well! I'd like to joke around with Johnny oppa too! Oh, how lovely would it be!!

I CAN'T WAIT TO KNOW WHO WON!

"Okay, I'm awake!" I stood up immediately at the sound of my alarm and hurriedly opened my twitter account, I typed in NCTsmtown to check if they already announced the winner of the contest.
