School's out and summer vacation begins. Vernon and the others decided to spend their summer vacation on the cabin owned by Vernon's uncle. It was located in the middle of a forest, surrounded with bushes of different flowers, huge strong trees and behind the cabin, you can see a beautiful waterfalls that flows with fresh clean water.

 

Vernon and the others finally arrived after a good three hours ride. Vernon's uncle dropped them and told them that he will fetch them 5 days before summer vacation ends. It was already three in the afternoon so it isn't that hot. The cabin was huge than expected,made of fine woods and was still in a good state like it was just built yesterday. It has three virandas adorned with some flower vines of the morning glory.

 

The cabin was built inbetween two huge trees so the air is always cold and fresh and ofcourse it was shady. At the right side, there are two picnic benches and tables where twenty people could fit along with some man-made grilling stove where they could grill and on the left side is where cars can be park.

 

Vernon and the others took their luggages and enter the said cabin. The cabin was more beautiful inside like you're inside of a mansion just that its all made of wood. The sofas were also made of wood attached with some soft cotton seat cushions covered with white sheets. The kitchen has complete sets of things for cooking and cooking and has a backdoor which will lead you to the waterfalls.

 

Upstairs, there has ten rooms on the left and ten room on the right. Each room has one queen size bed, a closet, a drawer, lampshade, slippers, a restroom with bathtubs and there is also two restrooms downstairs on each side beside the kitchen entrance, one for the girls, one for the boys. The twelve teenagers decided to occupy the rooms starting from the left from oldest to youngest.

 

In the middle there is a library room where lots of books are located and everyone just finish unpacking their things. Wonwoo found out there is a library so he immediately went there to read books while the others were touring around.  Wonwoo's eyes sparkle as he roam around the bookshelves. He keeps looking around until he spotted an odd huge black book. He took it out of the shelf and when he did, he was surprise when the shelf faces the wall revealing a pathway.

 

Wonwoo's curiousity peeks up and he decided to enter the dark pathway. he was still holding the book and he keeps walking until he found a lighted room and there in the middle stood a capsule covered with dust. Wonwoo puts the book down the floor and he began to walk towards the the capsule and wipes the mirror, he was shock to see a person inside. 

 

Wonwoo decided to help the person and he began to look around until he saw a red button and press it making the water started to be drained and the capsule to open. Wonwoo saw the person was about to fall so he immediately catches the person with long peach hair and was . Wonwoo turned the said person which turns out to be a girl. Wonwoo blushes as he saw the girl's body though the girl's s, face and private part was covered with her long hair. Wonwoo gently pushes the girl's hair away from her face and Wonwoo couldn't help but stare at awe at the girl's enchanting beauty.

 

"t-this is the first time I saw someone that is so beautiful..... oh right! She is ..." Wonwoo then decided to take off his shirt and let the girl wear it.

 

 

Wonwoo then tries to wake up the girl but she doesn't wake up until Wonwoo remember the book. He made the girl sit on his lap while her head was resting on his chest. He took the book and read it and he found out that the book was about the girl he found. He learned that the girl's name was Joshua and she was a half human and a half marionette.

 

He keeps reading until he found out how to wake Joshua up. Wonwoo blushes and gulps hard then he decides to get her long hair to cover her body as he lift the shirt Joshua was wearing then he took the key he found on the book and kisses Joshua's lips after he inserted the key on the middle of Joshua's s and twist it to wake up Joshua.

 

Wonwoo then removed the key and removes stops kissing Joshua then suddenly Joshua began to move and opened her eyes. Wonwoo was shock at how beautiful Joshua's eyes were, they were rich chocolate brown. 

 

"W-who are you?" Joshua said as she looks at Wonwoo who woke her up.

"I'm Wonwoo, sorry I wake you up..." Wonwoo said feeling apologetic.

"No need to say sorry,actually I wanna thank you...." Joshua said while still resting on Wonwoo.

"huh? What do you mean?" Wonwoo asked in curiousity

"well...I...actually.... I was..." before Joshua could say what she wanted to say, they heard some voices calling out for Wonwoo which got Joshua and Wonwoo startled.

 

Wonwoo has to get back but he couldn't just leave Joshua by her own so he asked Joshua to come with her and Joshua just nod to the one who woke her. Wonwoo help Joshua stand up and he only knew bits of pieces about her since the book only has few details about her.

 

On the book it says that Joshua was born in the 30th of December 1995 and she was turned into a half marionette at the age of five due to her weak and fragile body. After the operation, Joshua was put inside a container until she heals and she can only be awaken by the key made specially for her. 

 

Wonwoo knew Joshua cant stand up properly yet since Joshua has been sleep for over eighteen years. He ask for Joshua's permission to carry her as he fix his clothes that Joshua is wearing and uses her long hair to cover her lower body as he made Joshua carry the book.

 

They got out of the library and Wonwoo puts the book back to make the shelf block the said entrance again before he and Joshua went out of the library. Wonwoo peeks through the viranda only to see his friends downstairs so he quietly sneaks onto his room and makes Joshua sit on bed as he look for new clothes for him and for Joshua.

 

Thankfully, his clothes are bigger on Joshua but still he doesn't know what to do, he immediately fishes out his phone and calls Mingyu to come into his room. After a good five minutes, Mingyu knocks on his door and Wonwoo quickly pulls him inside and locks the door.

 

"Mingyu, I need your help" Wonwoo said as he held on Mingyu's shoulder.

"eh? why? what for? whats going on?" Mingyu asks curiously on why Wonwoo needs him.

"Its about her, you're the only one who could help me and since you had a younger sister, you know more what to do to her. I will explain later after we gave her a make over." Wonwoo said as he step aside and let Mingyu saw Joshua who was sitting on bed while hugging a pillow.

 

Wonwoo wants Mingyu to do something about Joshua's long hair and to do something about her clothes. Wonwoo decides to introduce Mingyu to Joshua and vice versa so Joshua wont be scared. Joshua seems to sense that Mingyu is also a nice person so she nods in agreement.

 

"ok let's start, Joshua can you sit in here?" Mingyu asks as he pull out a chair then he began to prepare the things he needed so he could cut Joshua's very long hair.

"oh about that, Joshua can't stand up, she's been asleep for almost eighteen years." Wonwoo explained and carries Joshua then puts her down on the chair gently.

"oh I see, Joshua, I will now cut your hair" Mingyu said gently as he began to comb Joshua's hair which is surprisingly soft and when he moves her hair out of her face, Mingyu can't help himself but be mesmerized as well. 

 

Mingyu began to style up Joshua's hair as Joshua just stay still. He keeps cutting her hair until it became a short bobcut with side bangs. After that Wonwoo began to clean as Mingyu began to look for materials to do something about Joshua's clothes.

 

Mingyu remembers having an extra kimono that he could revise for a time being. He began to get his measuring tape and makes assurance to Joshua he won't do anything harm and he was just gonna make her something she could wear.

 

Mingyu began to get her measurements and the final measurement that he has to get was the chest area. Mingyu gently raises Joshua's arms after he cover Joshua's lap with a pillow since he knew the shirt will lift and something might get seen then he gently places the measuring tape around Joshua's chest and blushes harder on how big her chest was then he immediately removes it and puts down Joshua's arms then he began to pattern it down on the kimono and start doing his work.

 

After 20 minutes, Mingyu has created a simple kimono and some garments out of the extra pieces of left cloth that Joshua could wear but first they need to give her a bath according to Wonwoo who just finish preparing a bubble bath for Joshua and thankfully Joshua still knows how to bathe herself so they let her be for the time being.

 

Wonwoo then began to explain to Mingyu how he found Joshua and what he had discover. Mingyu was shock to know that Joshua was a half marionette and has been inside a capsule,sleeping for a long time.

 

Joshua then speaks up and says she is finish taking a bath and was already dressed up. Wonwoo and Mingyu went to check her and they saw how beautiful she is even if she is just wearing a simple kimono.

 

Wonwoo then carries her and makes her sit on the chair as Mingyu began to dry her hair. Joshua was happy and for thr first time she smiles which made Wonwoo and Mingyu got more mesmerized and Joshua thanks them for what they have done for her.

 

Wonwoo and Mingyu then began to teach Joshua how to stand and thankfully she is learning how to use her feet little by little. After some good few minutes, Joshua fell asleep so Wonwoo and Mingyu let her and went out of Wonwoo's room to let Joshua rest for a bit.

 

Wonwoo and Mingyu both know they had to tell about the others about Joshua. They found the others who just returned from getting groceries and help them.

 

"say where did you two disappeared into?" Seungcheol asks Mingyu and Wonwoo.

"about that... were just here and we will tell you the details later after we all prepare for our dinner."   Wonwoo says and Mingyu nods. They began to prepare dinner. Everyone was busy except for BooSeokSoon trio who just finish setting up the table and they were curious on why Wonwoo wasn't around earlier so they decided to sneak onto his room upstairs quietly to check what Wonwoo is hiding.

 

Meanwhile Joshua was still asleep on Wonwoo's bed while the moonlight serves as the light on the dark room. Seungkwan, Seokmin and Soonyoung opens the door quietly and enters the room. They switch on the light and there they saw a beautiful person sleeping on Wonwoo's bed.

 

Seungkwan, Seokmin and Soonyoung began to check on the person, thinking its just a manequin and when they began to move closer, Joshua's eyes flutter open making the trio gasps at how beautiful the person who is sleeping on Wonwoo's bed. 

 

Joshua was shock to see three unknown people surrounding him and she began to panic and screams making Wonwoo and the others startled. They all rushed on the second floor and into Wonwoo's room where the light peeks through the gap of the door and its frame.

 

Wonwoo opens the door wider and when they enter the room, they saw Joshua who was hugging the pillow as she sob on it while Soonyoung, Seungkwan and Seokmin tries to comfort Joshua.

 

" What do you think the three of you are doing?" Wonwoo says on his cold voice making the guilty trio kneel down and says sorry.

"W-Wonwoo... Mingyu...." Joshua says as she remove the pillow covering her face as tears strolls down her cheeks and they were all mesmerized at how soft her voice is and how beautiful she was making them fall inlove at first sight with her while Mingyu and Wonwoo rushed to Joshua and comfort the scared girl.

 

After Joshua calms down, Seungkwan, Hoshi and Seokmin says sorry to Joshua after getting scold by Seungcheol and Jeonghan. Wonwoo and Mingyu began to tell them about how Wonwoo discovers Joshua then Mingyu introduces Joshua to them.

 

"Vernon, do you know anything about this?" Wonwoo asked

"No I don't... I have been staying here every summer and I didn't know she was sleeping in here for all the time, my uncle just inherited this from my grandpa who is already dead." Vernon explained.

"about that, say Joshua, how did you get wind up in there?" Seungcheol asks gently

"all I can remember was.... I was five years old and was getting home from school. I have a weak body and thankfully my house was just across the school. I was about to cross the street when suddenly, someone covered my mouth and when I open my eyes, I was inside a tube with oxygen tank, i feel numb and all I can see was people with lab coats. I can't hear what they are saying but I saw a monitor an image where a figure of a human has robotic parts and they were pointing at me. I fell asleep again and when I woke up, Wonwoo discovers me...." Joshua says as she hugs the pillow tightly.

 

They fell sorry for Joshua and decides to protect her. They invited Joshua for dinner and Joshua already forgive Soonyoung, Seokmin and Seungkwan. They spent their time with Joshua by teaching her how to walk and other stuffs. 

 

They grew closer to Joshua and Joshua learned alot from them. Joshua was very happy to find new friends and how it feels to be free and live normally. As time passby, the twelve men falls inlove to Joshua more and more.

 

Summer vacation is almost over and its almost time for them to return back to Seoul and Joshua will be left alone again. Vernon's uncle arrive to get them. He found them having a picnic and he heard them calling Joshua's name.

 

He immediately turn around and saw a beautiful girl with peach bobcut hair. He knew for sure it was his missing daughter. He called Joshua's name and they all look at Vernon's uncle and Joshua's eyes gets teary as she runs towards her father and hugs each other tight as they sob happily.

 

"My baby... finally... after eighteen years.... I found you..... my precious baby" Vernon's uncle said and they were shock to hear that Joshua was Vernon's cousin. Vernon's uncle looks at them and asks them how they found Joshua.

 

Wonwoo then narrates the story on how he found Joshua then they remember the black book and they all rushed to the library to get the book and all the contents and answer to their questions are there.

 

"Hong Jisoo aka Hong Joshua, daughter of Mr. Hong Minhyun and his wife Mrs. Choi Minki. Born on 31st of December 1995. Abducted by Mr. Kang Baek Ho and his team in request by the Mr. Hong Jonghyun to find cure for his grand daughter who was suffering from a heart disease and bone fracture disease. 

 

The operation was successful and needs few years to let the tissues heal and for the subject's body to adjust. Hong Joshua was still in the process of healing. The subject was put inside a capsule filled with medicinal water to ensure the healing rate.

 

The lab was attacked by the terrorist and the subject was hidden on the secret lab hidden on Mr. Hong Jonghyun's cabin located at the middle of the forest he owned to ensure his granddaughter's safety and recovery.

 

The next pages were the proofs of Hong Joshua's healing procedures, process and other instructions on what to do....."

 

 

Minhyun just found out the reason why his father said that he got nothing to worry about and Joshua was safe. They all returned to Seoul and to their respective homes. Vernon went with his uncle to buy some clothes for Joshua which was abit of a hassel since Joshua was getting some attentions. 

 

Minhyun and Vernon decides to surprise Minki. They ring the doorbell and Minhyun called his wife. When Minki opened the door, she was shock to see her daughter grown up and alive. Minki hug her long lost daughter happily whom she longs for and thought was dead.

 

Summer is over and its time to return to school. Vernon enters the school together with his cousin making the rest of their friends shock and happy now that Joshua is always with them and the real war will just begin on whom will win Joshua's heart and Vernon was protecting his cousin from them making Joshua giggle as Vernon hides her behind his back while the others whine at how they couldn't get near Joshua.
