Okay, there goes my alarm clock.

Knock knock

“Yes mom…” I mumbled.

“Hurry up, dear. Taeyong’s already waiting for you downstairs.”

WHAT. THE. HELL???

I shot up from my bed and hurriedly went to the bathroom.

After taking a bath and dressing up, I grabbed my things and went downstairs.

“Lee Taeyong, what the heck are you doing here? At this time, seriously?” I sassed with my hands on my hips.

“Well, Kim Gaeul, it’s the first day of the week. Being late isn’t an option.” He shot back.

“You two are back at it again.” My mother chuckled.

Oh she’s probably used to it…

“When was I ever late?” I asked, hands still on my hips.

“Uhm…let’s see, that one time when you slept for too long thinking it was Saturday. Then…” Taeyong began recalling.

“Okay! Okay! Okay! But that only happened thrice!” I waved my hands in front of his face signaling him to stop. “And the third time, it’s not my fault that the bus left earlier than expected. And who even told you to wait for me?”

“You two, come on! Have some breakfast before going to school.” My mother called out from the kitchen.

“Yes mom!”

“Ne eommonim.”

“Hey, do you wanna come with us to the bookstore later after school? Donghyuck asked me to come with him.” Taeyong asked.

“Yeah, sure!” I replied.

Donghyuck is Taeyong’s younger cousin who lives with him and his family. He’s also my best friend…next to Yong. Just saying…

“Great!” He cheered

“It’s been a while since our last hangout.” I said. “Do you guys have anything major coming up?”

“Hmm
