It’s dark, but you feel his presence inside. “Jungkook oppa?”   “I’m here.” Jungkook shines light from his phone so you can see him.   You sigh and carefully approach him. “What are you doing sitting in the dark?”   “I was thinking of recording a new cover,” he says. You take a seat on the cold floor beside him.   “Doesn’t explain why the lights have to be off.” You take his phone and point the torch at his face as you study his features. Jungkook squints from the brightness and pushes your hand away slightly.   He laughs guiltily. “What are you doing here?” He diverts the conversation.   “You called me here, didn’t you?” You lean against the mirror behind your backs.   “Did I?” He scrolls through his messages and call log, obviously not remembering if he’d actually done it.   You nod, even though he’s not looking at you. “Telepathically.”   Jungkook freezes for a couple of seconds to register your words. He laughs. “You’re right, I did.”   Hearing his tired voice, your heart wrenches for him. He has an image of being the goofy maknae around his older members but on his own, his thoughts are sometimes deeper than he can imagine.   “Oppa,” you nudge him in the side. “Sing me a song.”   He looks down at you. “What song do you want to hear?”   “Whatever song you were thinking of covering.” You hope that by getting him to sing, you can distract him from whatever compli
