After the event, Bo Gum and I didn't have the chance to see each other again. We became even busier than before. I have been shooting for some magazines in and out of the country. He, on the other hand, was stuck with his guestings and advertisement shoots. We became even more popular inside and outside Korea. Even though the drama has been long gone and ended, we still top the actor and actress billing in the country. Wherever we go, we could see our faces hanging on establishments, may it be with us together, or individually. Our popularity is very overwhelming that we almost forgot that we also need to maintain our relationship. We became so tired of work that we sometimes forget to update each other. It didn't become an issue since it was a mutual act from both parties.

I wouldn't deny the fact that I, myself, lost time for him. I have been bombarded with projects everywhere. 'Because I Love You' has been the most time-eating project for me. Since the movie will soon open in the country, we became so busy that I haven't been checking on my guy lately. I have not been sleeping well either, so, vacant hours are all spent for me to rest.

Time flew so fast, and just a few more days, it would be December already. I just woke up from my deep sleep. Today's going to be an awesome day. My much awaited free time! I must text Bo Gum, he might be free also, and if he is, we can plan on something since we haven't seen each other for a long time.

"Hey, are you free today? I have no schedule, let's see each other Oppa. 😊" I texted him.

I waited for his reply. It has been ten minutes, and he hasn't sent me anything yet. He might not be holding his phone right now. Anyways, I'll just wait for a little bit more.

I tried to entertain myself while waiting for his reply. I played with my phone, I cried my heart out while watching a movie, I ate the food I got delivered to and even fell asleep. At around 5 in the afternoon, I woke up. I immediately went to check my phone. I got so excited to see that there is a message waiting to be opened. That excitement was easily erased tho, when I discovered that it was from a friend from the university.

Why isn't Bo Gum answering me? I wanted to call him, but we both agreed before that we won't call each other unless the other line has okayed to it already. It's for safety purposes since our phones are sometimes left with other people when we're working.

But today seems to be alright. I heard that his schedule has been free for awhile, I guess calling him would be fine. He might be sleeping that's why he can't answer. I need to wake him up now if he is, since the day is starting to end. He even changed my name to 'my doll' in his phone, so just in case someone else would pick it up, I wouldn't be exposed instantly.

I searched for his name on my phone. I just typed 'Oppa' since I just named him like that. I just added a heart emoji so I won't be confused.

Fortunately, his phone is ringing. I waited for him to pick up. I'm on my 4th ring when somebody answered. Unluckily, it wasn't Bo Gum, not even an inch close to Bo Gum. In fact, a woman answered his phone. At first, I panicked, I thought it was someone from his work, I might have put him in a crucial situation once they saw that 'my doll' was calling him. But when the lady started to talk, my emotions eventually changed. I became angry, no not angry, infuriated. What I'm hearing from the other line is a drunk woman who keeps on laughing and she really seems to have a good time. Why the hell is she holding Bo Gum's phone?

"Hi! Who's this?" She said. I can hear that she's inside a karaoke house. I could actually hear some faint singing in the background. What kind of people drink at around 5pm? And they already sound drunk, so they must have been drinking since awhile ago. Is Bo Gum's phone stolen?

My self inquiry was answered when the girl continued talking. "I'm sorry, but Bo Gum left his phone here. I think he went to the comfort room." Though she sound so drunk, the woman on the other line can still compose a normal conversation.

"Who are you? And where is Bo Gum exactly? This is his girlfriend." The girl on the other line chuckled with my reply.

"Basing on your name on his phone, yes you might be the girlfriend. But Bo Gum doesn't have one. And this is Lee Hyeri. Whoever you are, you do not need to worry, since he is with me and the rest of our friends. We're just having a reunion."

So it's Hyeri Unnie. And they are having a reunion. He haven't mentioned that to me! I thought we promised each other to inform the other if we're going out with friends? So what is this? And he's with Hyeri! More reason that he should have told me about this. Unless, he did this on purpose.

"Is that so? Isn't he back yet? Can I talk to him?" I tried to be calm. Even though it's an obvious thing that this girl harbors some feelings for Bo Gum, I shouldn't be angry with her. She doesn't know anything anyway. Hyeri Unnie didn't do anything wrong this time, so it's bad if I'd put the blame on her. Another person must face my wrath. A disloyal, flirtatious and dishonest boyfriend must face my wrath!

"Wait a sec, he's here now." I heard her calling for Bo Gum and she then passed him his phone. I could hear a subtle '' in the background. Yes young man, you're busted.

I heard that a door suddenly slammed close, indicating that the one holding the phone went out. After that, I heard a familiar voice talking. "Yoo Jung-a..." He started.

"So.. What is it now? Is this just a coincidence? You meeting them is unplanned that's why you can't tell me about it beforehand? Or, you can't inform me about your whereabouts anymore and you just chose not to answer my message? Come on, I'm waiting for your lies."

I heard him take a deep breath. "Yoo Jung, I'm so sorry for not telling you about this. I know this is going beyond the line. But you see, I have missed these guys. I really wanted to see them so much. And I know that we will just end up fighting if I'd ask for your permission. You have blatantly told me that seeing me with Hyeri is your biggest no-no. But she is a part of our group, we cannot just send her away. I thought that you, unaware of anything, would save you from pain. I'm so sorry." He sound so genuine, but it doesn't change the fact that it still hurts. He lied to me!

"So you think I was saved now? That I am not hurting now? You've been putting me in too much pain. I feel so betrayed. And, wouldn't you want to see me too? Is it them you wanted to see the most? Huh. I'm so stupid. I was here waiting for you the whole day, my only free day for a long time. I want to spend it with you. Because we haven't seen each other too! But I was left like a moron waiting, while you were already having fun." Tears started to run down my eyes.

"Please forgive me Yoo Jung. Please. I'll go to you right now. I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry." I can hear frustration and urgency in his voice. I think he's already running. But my decision has been made.

"I need some space Oppa. Please don't go here and stop calling me."

"Yoo Jung, wait! No..." I turned off the phone.

I know that what he did was just a simple fault. But I have been enduring for so long already. Not just the betrayal, but the lack of time for each other. I arrived at my saturation point. I'm so tired. I just want to be at peace. I don't want to hear any explanations, or hold on to any promises anymore. I'm just so exhausted.

I cried myself the whole night. I asked my Unnie to let me be just this once, and to stop asking a lot of questions. All the tireness I've been suppressing since the beginning of this relationship have taken its toll on me. I'm so tired of everything. And I feel so alone. I can't talk to anyone, since nobody knows about our relationship. I'll just be sad all by myself.
 

Tomorrow, I'll be working again. I hope my work will take all my attention so I won't be dreading the whole time.

My Unnie knocked on my door and told me that Bo Gum was downstairs. She said that he is firm on staying until he sees me. I'm also firm with my decision of not talking to him and seeing him. That would only make me change my mind. One glance from him, and I'd be moved, that's for sure. This time, I'd really want some space. Without opening the door, I told my Unnie to drive him away and if he won't bulge, threaten him that we will call his manager to drag him home. Luckily, after 2 hours of being stubborn, he gave up and let me have the peace that I was asking for.

But he never surrendered actually, since he was still calling my phone. I was left with nothing but to turn it off totally. I asked our house helpers to call my service provider and have my number changed. I also informed my manager about my number change and made him promise not to give it to anybody.

Everybody in the house was confused, especially my mom, who has zero idea about me dating Bo Gum. It is only my Unnie who knows, so, they are all wondering what's happening. My Unnie just told them to let me be.

I was in an advertisement shoot when I received an unexpected news. MAMA has invited me to be a presenter in their awards night. I was so delighted to hear it since MAMA is one of the most prestigious Music Award giving bodies. My manager instantly confirmed my attendance without even checking the full details. We didn't even know who I was going to present with. It would just be any idol anyway, so it's fine.
