Chapter 9: I'm Sorry

After writing his feelings down on the paper he fell asleep on his chair.

The next morning he went to school earlier than before. He didn't want to see Sunny because he didn't want to be sad before school began. It was cold so he ran into school, went into his class room and sat down without a greeting for his friends. 

When Sunny arrived 15 minutes later she also just sat down without looking at DongHae. She just wore thin shirt and DongHae began to worry about Sunny.

'Is Sunny ok ?' he thought.

'Mmmh.. why should i worry. She don't deserve my worries but ..'

"DongHae" someone interrupted DongHae's thoughts.

"Is everything alright ? I mean between you and .. Sunny."

"Why do you care ?"

"I worry about you."

"It's okay. Hyuk also did or still does but .. i don't want bother you. You're my friends and i know that you are worrying but it's really ok."

"I don't believe you DongHae !"

"Just do !"

"No, i can't. I see that somethings wrong and i .. i don't want to see you like that !"

'Gooosh .. why is everyone saying : I don't want to see you like this' thought DongHae and looked out of the window.

"DongHae ! Listen ! Don't act like you are ok coz your not. I know it. I am with you since i can thought and now you can't lie to me. DongHae, please ! Nothing is alright !"

"IT IS ALRIGHT !"

"It can't. Everyday i have to see you walking around like you're sleeping. Everyday i have to see Sunny with Chungmin and everyday i have to see how it destroys you !"

"Please, Teuk.. Believe me. I'm alright. Don't care about me. Just live on without any problems. I'll be alright .."

With that DongHae let his head fall on the table and LeeTeuk knew heh ad to leave him.

"LeeTeuk. Do not meddle !" whispered Changmin to him.

LeeTeuk just looked at him, then at Sunny how she just sat there, her face like frozen looking at the board and then his eyes stayed by DongHae, watching him and then he sighed: 

"The same for you."

~After school:

"Sunny ?" DongHae took all his courage, sat next to her on the bank and talked to her, his eyes caught on the ground.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not telling you why i was angry of you and why i left school without you but i just couldn't. And until today i can't."

Sunny stood up and left but DongHae didn't realize it so he continued.

"Maybe one day i can, maybe now or maybe not.. i don't know."

He looked around and all he could saw was nothing. Nothing but the little paths and the houses. And not even Sunny.

Then he stood up and walked. Just walked to away. He didn't want to be there alone, without Sunny so he left.

After 10 minutes he saw someone sitting on a small rock. Sunny. He went to her again, sat down and asked her not to leave again. She didn't answer but she stayed.

"Do you persecute me ?"

"Nooo.. just a coincidence."

"What do you want"

"You.." he said hesitantly.

"Why ?"

"You're my friend."

"Really ?"

"I don't lie. I would never lie to you."

Sunny didn't answer and turned her view away frim DongHae.

DongHae couldn't bear this silence so he took a piece of paper out of his bag, put it in Sunny's hand and left.

~After 2 hours:

Finally Sunny arrived at home and fell on her bed. Then she remembered what DongHae gave her. She took it out of her jacket and read it:

when i look at how cold you've become

the separation spreading in this instance

now i know there's nothing to be done

in the name of love

slowly like changing colors

love is leaving me

i didn't know i had it to begin with

even words of apology 

although i'm as sorry as this 

what could a person like me say

how could i say it

like i can't breath, i'm dizzy

inside lost time

even if i roam quickly

the only thing i could do now

is to do nothing

When i see you with your back turned away

the time love clearly took

now i can see it too

like a time of separation i saw it coming

you were a part of me, I didn't know

*The other part is with me.. I'm really Sorry Sunny ! '

Sunny began to cry but she didn't want to.

"DongHae .. I never, never forgot you !"
