★ Pokemon Terminology 

★ Pokemon Trainer:

A person who catches, trains, cares for and battles with Pokémon. The majority of people within the known pokemon world are Trainers. They obtains badges from gym leaders. They strive to become a pokemon champion. It refers to a trainer who has completed a Pokemon League by collecting all the necessary badges, and either winning a regional Pokemon tournament or defeating the Elite Four and the previous Pokemon Champion. There is usually one Pokemon Champion per region at a time. It is assumed that the Champion must defend their title against challengers.

★ Pokemon Coordinator: 

They raise their Pokémon much like Pokémon Trainers do, although with much more emphasis on beauty and appearances since they are major factors when it comes to points in Contests. They need to train their Pokémon to have beautiful moves, and be able to do well in battles, as a battle tournament is the second round of a Contest. However, unlike Trainers, their goal is to collect Ribbons instead of badges. But unlike badges, Coordinators only get a single shot of winning a particular ribbon from a particular contest. They also must compete with other Coordinators for that ribbon. They need to collect five ribbons by winning various Contests in the region in order to be able to participate in that region's Grand Festival. If they win the Grand Festival, they will be awarded the Ribbon Cup.

★ Secret Pokemon Agents (S.P.A):

People under the S.P.A are undercover spies who work to keep peace and order around the whole world. They are mostly unknown because their organization is kept a secret. They are similar to police forces expect working with the S.P.A is much more extreme then working with the police. Top priority of the S.P.A? To hunt down evil organizations that may use Pokemon for negative purposes. People who learned of their existence must either join them or be kept under watched eyes. 

★ Team Rocket:

They are an organized crime syndicate in pursuit of evil and exploitation of Pokemon. While its main focus is stealing or capturing, then selling, rare and strong pokemon, it also funds and conducts cruel experimental research on Pokemon. Their oath, as posted on the wall of one of their many bases, is "Steal Pokemon for profit. Exploit Pokemon for profit. All Pokemon exist for the glory of Team Rocket." Their ulimate goal is to take over the world using Pokemon. After the sudden dissappearance of leader Giovonni, they have been under a new order and leader. They have bases located all across the world.
