The Theory of Distance
Description
Myungsoo figured that a long distance relationship wouldn't have been too difficult to combat. But he didn't factor time and space into his equation. So when he's sent into space through a wormhole with his partner Sunggyu, he can't help but struggle over the passing distance between him and Sungyeol – his boyfriend who is still back on Earth. In a galaxy where one hour is seven years on Earth, Myungsoo's not sure if he and Sungyeol would be able to overcome the distance.

lmao so like- angst amiright. lol well, i've never written a sci-fi style romance before, so this should be interesting. i actually wasn't planning to write something like this at all, but it's for a contest my friend created and i wanted to enter. the prompt is samson by regina spektor, so i will be pulling a lot of imagery and whatnot from the lyrics. and since the song is like 10000% angst, so will this oneshot. this probably won't be as long as my other oneshots though so pls don't expect too much ; v ; that being said, i thought of my plot and almost cried?? like wtf i don't cry over fics-
cough so myungyeol with the slightest bit of bro gyuyeol if you squint in an astronaut AU very much inspired by Interstellar. so if you've seen Interstellar get ready for myungyeol!interstellarAU

Foreword
The stars were just old light; light from the broken lamps of his childhood and the blown out candles. Myungsoo had never blown out a billion candles or broken a thousand lamps, so why were there more and more stars appearing between him and Sungyeol?
