Chapter 13
His BrotherAfter the long silence, Hyesung finally said, “You can’t propose to Andy.” Eric frowned. That was his way of asking and why not. Hyesung was about to tell about Junjin and Andy’s little affair, but those words didn’t come out. “You just can’t.”
“I love him,” Eric said.
“But is love truly enough to propose to someone?” Hyesung was panicking. “What if he says no?”
“Why would he say no?” Eric asked. “We have talked about it and I think I am ready to propose.”
Hyesung’s heart was thudding. He couldn’t say anything to that. “You are so damn blind!” he screamed as he stormed off.
Eric stared at the empty seat in front of him and furrowed his eyebrows. Hyesung had been acting super strangely ever since he and Andy had gotten together. Hyesung usually liked who Eric was dating, but those relationships usually died fast. Andy had been Eric’s longest achievement and he felt it was because they were meant to be. He was certain.
Hyesung kept saying Eric was blind.
What was he so blind about?
Love was blind, at least if you believed the saying.
Eric was willing to forgive Andy for anything, because he loved him.
That was what love meant for him.
Andy looked over his shoulder as the elevator doors closed on Junjin and Minwoo. His heart was thudding from many reasons. The adrenaline had overtaken his body, as he walked outside and inhaled the light breeze. A smile crept to his face as he walked down the street, holding the things in his arms.
The look on Minwoo’s face made chills go down his spine. Andy didn’t want any problems for Junjin, but he had most likely gotten them. His phone started vibrating in his pocket, so Andy placed his things to the bench further steps away and answered his phone. Eric wanted to see him. Suddenly, guilt thickened in Andy’s chest.
He had forgotten about Eric.
When he was with Junjin, he had no recollection of outside world.
Andy was in a fantasy land – like Neverland.
“Hyung,” He answered happily. “Where am I? Umm…coming from a class.” he lied. “You want to go there?” Andy widened his eyes. “Can I at least come home and change first?” A chuckle exited his lips as he nodded to nothing. “I’ll be right there.”
Eric had something to tell him.
Eric had something to tell every time they went to the best restaurant in town. Andy grabbed the things from the bench after he had hung up and put the phone back
