Jungkook groaned, shifting slightly. He hated this. He hated having to run around after school in order to escape the bullies. He especially hated it when they do finally catch him. He pushed himself up, propping his back against the school building.

At least he could still see his bag this time. Last time they threw it up the tree and it took hours to get it back. Jungkook combed his messed up hair with one hand. Just one more year and then he'll be out of here. He'll go to some top tier high school where none of these es could reach him.

He should go. He really should. His aunt was probably waiting for him at home. Jungkook groaned again. Yeah, that aunt of his. If he came back like this she would definitely be worried again. He should clean himself up before he goes home.

So much to do... He's just tired of it all.

His eyes slid shut. Just for a little bit. He'll rest and then he'll go home.

It wasn't long before the silence was ruined. In the room behind him, he heard noises. Dammit. Were they back? Jungkook pushed himself up and gathered his bag and torn notebook from the ground.

Before he could leave, though, a sweet voice came from the room. 

Yeah, that definitely wasn't one of the bullies. Jungkook should leave. Either way associating himself with anyone in this school wasn't good for his school records. However, he still stayed.

”If I fall asleep lightly from your touch, just let me stay a moment.”

He heard a pause before she continued. "When your calm eyes fall on me, will I be able to smile as brightly as I used to?"

Jungkook breathed out slowly, not realizing he was holding it. He stayed in the same exact position until he heard the last notes. Hesitation coursed through him, but Jungkook wasn't one to hesitate. So without another moment wasted he pushed the window open further, his eyes falling onto the lone girl sitting by the piano.
