"FRIEND NO MORE"

Kibum decides that it’s now or never.

“What do you want to talk about ‘bummie?” Jonghyun smiles, waiting for Kibum’s response.

They just came back from university and went straight to their shared dorm-room. Kibum studying Arts while Jonghyun is a Business Major student

 Honestly, Jonghyun wants nothing to do but to get a hot shower and slip to his covers already. But as he eyes Kibum chewing his bottom lips as if contemplating to do something (really his best friend is so easy to read), he patiently waits for the other to say what he has in mind.

“Uhm, I-I..” Kibum stammers, “I need to tell you something.” ‘Cause I’m going crazy if I can’t say this outloud.

“Hmm?” Jonghyun smiles, encouraging him to go on.

Kibum released a deep breath, it’s now or never.

“I-I’m gay.”

Jonghyun’s eyes widened. It took a few moments for him to actually forms a sentence since it’s not likely a surprise anymore. They’ve been friends since they were children and Jonghyun notices how Kibum seems to act differently in the past few weeks.

And then he smiles, and maybe it was just his imagination but Kibum’s breathing turned hurried even more.

“Is that all?” Jonghyun asks, keeping his willpower to not laugh out loud at the way Kibum is looking at him, as if he’s expecting another kind of response.
