she screams into the hollow brightness, wishing that she could pour out her insane soul with it too. the scream rebounds off the white walls, slides across the polished floors and back to her face, bringing her back hard, together with the restraints by the bed.

after a couple of struggles and tugging at the handcuffs on her hand, silence and pain hits into , and all hyejin was left with was a hoarse whimper, the rest just empty confusion.

a sharpness dug into her flesh and took away the last bit of pain, numbness overwhelming her as she laid back down on her back, feeling defeated.

hyejin stares right ahead and at the man before her. there was something lingering her heart, but she couldn't understand. it felt like hatred, but it felt more like betrayal, with a strike of heartache.

but even so, hyejin could not do anything. she could only stare blankly right ahead, into the eyes of the man and try to fix her broken thought and memories. try to comprehend her feelings that were in a mess, before darkness slips into her.
