Parenting, 101“WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO STOP THIS NONSENSE?!” Yoon Jae yelled, red-faced from rage and lack of breath, because he had been yelling for the last fifteen minutes.
“LOOK AT YOUR GRADES!” He pointed at the report card, framed on their wall so Seung Eun could, as he quoted: ‘soak in the shame of her failure as it stares down at her every day’.
“I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU SKIPPED CLASS WHEN YOU’RE ALREADY SO FAR BEHIND! WHAT WILL I TELL YOUR UNCLE WHEN HE ASKS?! MY PARENTS ARE LAUGHING AT ME FROM BEYONG THE GRAVE! YOUR TEACHER IS GOING TO CALL, AND THEN WHAT SHOULD I SAY?! I’M A JUDGE BUT I CAN FEEL OTHER PEOPLE JUDGING ME FOR MY PARENTING SKILLS BECAUSE OF ALL THE POOR DECISIONS YOU'VE MADE!”
“UGHH DAD, STOP YELLING ALREADY!” Seung Eun shot up from the sofa, “MOM!!!”
“YOON JAE!!!” Shi Won screamed from the kitchen, “STOP YELLING AT MY DAUGHTER!”
“DID YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DAUGHTER DID?!” Yoon Jae shouted back.
“YES, I ALREADY KNOW!”
Seung Eun stuck out her tongue in childish spite, “I asked her before and she said yes!”
“WHAT?!”
