Lisa’s POV
I woke pretty early and was actually in a good mood base on what happen last night, as the memory flash back to my mind, I can’t help but smile widely and let out a squeak. I dove back in my bed and scream in my pillows cause really, I can’t contain my feels.
“His voice, it’s so dreamy and… and… and…” I smile crazily as I remember the lyrics of what he sang
“Bogo sipda, bogo sipda~”
I can’t help but to scream in my pillow again. After minutes of reminiscing of what happen last night, I finally decided to get up and wash my face and head out of my room. I feel so happy today that I swear no one can ruin my mood no matter what will they do. As I walk towards to the kitchen, I can’t help but hum the song that Jungkook had sung last night. I sat next to Rose unnie who was looking at me weirdly. Jisoo laid down the breakfast she cooked then she sat next to Jennie unnie, whose drinking milk again, then we started eating.
“You look in good mood today” Rose unnie said as she passes me the soup
“Well you can tell” I said and smiled brightly which made Rose unnie raised an eyebrow
“No I take it back. Your weird today” Rose unnie said and shake her head before eating a sausage, with that the three of us laugh. After eating I decided to help Jisoo unnie to clean up, since I was in a good mood today. While doing the dishes, I can’t help but to hum the song again. I suddenly realized that I never heard that song before, so I quickly made a mental note to myself to search it up later. I continue humming until Jisoo unnie asked me a question. She probably notice the song that I keep humming
“What song is that?” she asked and I just shrugged because I also don’t know too
“You’ve been humming that song over and over” Jisoo unnie said as she finished washing the last plate. She suddenly also hum it causing me to widen my eyes.
“You already got the hang of it?” I asked as I followed her to the living room. She sat and nodded
“Of course, you kept humming it over and over and I got to say it’s kinda addictive” she said as she the tv
“It’s addictive isn’t it?” I said and this time I sang the song. Jisoo unnie look at me as if she’s trying to figure out what song it is but she just breaks down and say’s that she never heard it before. Since she’s also had been hook up by the song, we decided to search it but we only ended up with no results which leave us confused. Well, especially me.
“Can you try singing it again?” Jisoo unnie asked so I sang it again. She looks like she’s trying to figure out the song but ended up nothing
“I can’t” she said and ruffle’s her hair
“Where do you even heard that song?” she asked making my mouth shut tight. She looks at me expectantly but I kept my mouth shut
“Seriously your gonna be like that now?” she ask and I just smiled at her and run towards to my room. I closed my door and locked it. I plopped down on my bed and took my phone on my bedside table. Now I’m really getting curious what song had Jungkook sung to me. After hesitating, I decided to call Jungkook so I can ask about that song. I smiled when he quickly picked it up
“Yeoboseyo Lisaaaa!” I softly laugh when I heard how excited his voice is.
“Yeoboseyo” I said and I can hear him laughing
“So what’s up?” he asked
“Nothing, just wanted you to ask about something” I said
“What is it? Actually I’m with Jimin and Jin hyung right now” he said which surprised me because he just said my name so excitedly when his actually with his hyung’s.
“Really?” I asked and he said yes. I heard him saying about ‘say hello to her’ and I heard Jimin-shii’ and Jin subae’s voice. I actually still don’t know how to address the other Bts members, so I guess I’ll just settle with sunbae.
“Annyeonghaseyo Lisa-shii!” both of them said in unison causing them to laugh. I also laugh because it looks like their being silly.
“Ok that’s enough!” I heard Jungkook said
“Aigoo their being childish again” Jungkook said and chuckle
“So what’s your gonna ask?” he said. I don’t know why I suddenly feel embarrassed
“Well it’s actually about the song that you sung last night” I said, being careful
“Yah Kookie why did you stop?” I heard Jimin-shii’s voice. Silence followed and I began to feel nervous because he might take it in a wrong way.
“Jungkook?” I heard him sigh
“What about it?” I don’t know why but I can feel sadness and nervousness in his voice which made me feel uneasy.
“Jungkook-ah I’m just gonnna ask what song it is because I can’t seem to find it. I tried to search it up you know” I said, trying my best to sound sweet. And I don’t even know why I’m trying my best. I heard him saying ‘Oh’. After a long pause I could hear him laughing out loud, he just keeps laughing until his hyungs asked why is he laughing. When he finished I finally speak
“You finish now?” I asked and chuckle.
“Yeah, sorry” he said. ‘That got made me really worry’ Jungkook thought
“Well, actually it’s our song” he said and I was quite surprised because I never heard them singing that
“What?” I asked confused. I heard him hum like he was thinking before answering me
“Can you keep this a secret then?” he asked which made me more confused but I ended up saying a yes
“Actually that’s a song from our new album. We already listened to it and we have to practice it and right now we’re actually on our way to record it” he said and that all makes sense. My mouth formed in an O shape. ‘So that’s why there is no result’ I thought
“Wait, new album?” I asked when I realized that their gonna have another comeback again
“Yep!” he said
“That’s fast” I said
“Well it’s just a continuation from our previous album” he said and suddenly laughs causing me to ask why suddenly laughing
“Seokjin hyung tripped over” he said and laugh again. I can also heard Jimin-shii’s laughing. I sigh and shake my head on how silly they are.
“You guys are so funny” I said
“So do you like our new song?” he asked and I have to admit it is good
“Yeah so good that I kept on humming it until Jisoo unnie also hum’s it” I said and smile even though he can’t see it but I know he can feel it
“Jinja? Well you gotta be careful or else your gonna expose us” he said and we both laugh.
“I won’t~~~” I said and he chuckle.
“Oh we’re already here gotta go” he said
“Neh” I said and was about to end the call when
“Hey Kookie-yah” I don’t know what’s gotten into me and surprised myself when I called him that. I heard his breath hitch
“Wae?” he asked kinda flustered
“Can you sing it for me later? Before sleeping?” I asked and I honestly don’t know where did I got this boldness from. After realizing what I had just asked, I froze. ‘What the heck Lisa!? What was that?’ I was about to take it back when I heard Jungkook laugh softly
“I would love to” I swear my heart skipped a beat when he said that. It happened so fast. We both bid our goodbyes and suddenly I found myself in Rose unnie’s room just staring at her.
“Hello earth to Lisa!” I came back to my senses when Rose unnie snap her fingers in front of me. She’s looking at me weirdly
“You’re definitely weird today” She said as she throws a pillow on my face
“Yah!” she just laughs at me and I also ended up just laughing.
“What are you doing here anyway? Jisoo unnie said it looks like your hiding something” Rose unnie said which I denied so fast
“Aigoo is it about Jungkook sunbae?” she asked that made me flustered.
The reason I went to Rose unnie’s room is to tell her about what happen last night and what I have been feeling lately towards to Jungkook. But I don’t know why I keep on hesitating. I look down and hug one of the pillows of Rose unnie and stayed silent. Suddenly I’m very confused because I just realize that I’m feeling something yet I couldn’t determine what it is. Rose unnie scooted closer to me and hug one her stuffed toy.
“Do you wanna talk about it?” Rose unnie asked and that’s all what it takes to make me speak. This is the unnie I need right now, she just knows what to do depending on what situation and mood. I smiled and told her what happen last night.
“That time I felt that his just not singing, like he was trying to say something to me” I said as I tighten my hug to the pillow. Rose unnie hummed signaling me to continue
“And I just can’t help but to say I miss him too” I said as I felt butterflies in my stomach
“Sometimes when you can’t express what you’re feeling, you tend to think of ways you could do so you can express it. And that’s what Jungkook sunbae did” Rose unnie said and smiled at me. She looked at me and started to caress my hair
“And I think your brave enough to reply to him like that but I’m sure Jungkook sunbae is so happy because you understood what he meant” Rose unnie said which really comforted me. I look at her, I still want to open up to her but this time I decided when I can’t really understand what I’m feeling and can’t handle it.
“Hey Lisa” I looked at Rose unnie, waiting for her to continue
“Jungkook sunbae is sweet don’t you think?” She said
“Yeah” I agree and smiled
“But I can’t believe you ask him to sing that again” Rose unnie said and smiled teasingly at me. I glare at her but we both just ended up laughing
“I know right, I didn’t know where I got the courage to ask him that. It’s so embarrassing” I said and cover my face with my hands.
Rose unnie kept teasing me until Jennie unnie enter the room
“Yah time to get ready, were gonna go and practice” she said and left. I stood up and thanked Rose unnie and was about to leave when Rose unnie stopped me
“Hey Lisa, don’t ever hesitate and just tell me. Not just me but to Jennie and Jisoo unnie too” she said and let go of me. I walked towards my room with that repeating on my mind. As I closed my door, I lean unto it and let out my breath that I didn’t even know that I’m holding.
“Soon unnie, when I figure out what I’m feeling” I said and started to get ready.
The four of us went to the company. We practiced our vocals and dance but we were more focused on our vocals. The practice ended well but just like always, it ended late and we’re all exhausted. We decided to eat our dinner on our way instead of cooking, since we’re too tired. When we arrived, we all went to our room. I plopped down on my bed, exhausted. My eyes are already closed when my phone started to ring. I tiredly took my phone out of my pocket and answer it
“Yeoboseyo?” I said tiredly
“Yeoboseyo Lisa?” I smiled by just hearing his voice
“You sound tired? You ok?” he asked
“Yeah, we just arrived from practice. How about you? Finished recording?” I asked
“Yeah” he said
“So why did you call?” I ask and I heard him chuckle
“I can’t believe you already forgot” he said and I frowned
“Didn’t you just asked me earlier to sing it again to you?” he asked, teasingly. My eyes shoot wide open as I remember.
“Well….” I don’t know what to say. I feel the butterflies on my stomach again and I can’t help but to smile
“Lisa babo~ I’ll sing it to you know. And you know what? Maybe I’ll sing this to you every night”
‘Seriously Jeon Jungkook stopped it, you’re killing me’ I thought and smiled crazily.
