Ever since Taehyung was a little boy, he knew something was, off, per say. While all the junior high boys very obviously peered up an oblivious junior high girl's skirt,and then proceded to talk about "how good Lisa's rack is," he sat out. He didn't want to be apart of such disgusting "locker room talk." All throughout junior high he had convinced himself that the reason he didn't partake in those chats was because he was a good person, and not a ert. Because he wasn't the same as all the other boys in his year. He liked to work alone, and do everything by himself.

As he transitoned into highschool, he realized that while yes, he wasn't a ert, the real reason he didn't do those things was because if he was presented with an attractive boy, and an attractive girl, his eyes would land on the boy. This troubled him for ages. During freshman year, he finally found his friend group, and shoved any feelings he had into a box in the back of his head. Because having a crush on one of your friends was weird, right? That wouldn't work. Despite is efforts, his eyes landed on the same boy, all year. Even when he went through girlfriend after girlfriend.

The summer from 10th to 11th grade was a breakthrough moment for Taehyung. He accepted the fact that he was gay, rather than pushing it away. Confident and sure, he came out to his small group of friends. Every horror story h=in his head came true, Not all at once, though. At first, all seemed good. But as time went by, his friends acted weirder and weirder around him until they were no longer his friends.

They spread every kind of rumor they could about him during 11th grade. He was back to being the loner boy, except this time, it was decorated with insults and bookchecks. That year changed him. He shoved his feelings back into a box, and went to extreme measures to try and hide the fact that he was, indeed, gay.

When his mother got transferred to a new location, that meant they had to move. Taehyung was excited for a new start. He just hoped that this time, it would go smoothly, and he would fit right in.
