it's easy to look up to the concert stages in awe or indulge in hours worth of youtube clips featuring your favourite guys and gals in kpop and think - hey, i could do that! a thought quickly cancelled out with the realisation that what - you've not been training since age five, you're sitting behind a desk or miles from any kpop star ever and the closest you've gotten to the stage is a blurry snapchat video from 2014. without the training from the right experts and the right company connections, it's doubtful that even trainees will make it into the idol world so it's a pipe dream to think that some girls sitting around in their apartments could, right? so what's the point in dreaming about dancing with your fans screaming out the chants to your number one single and not getting on with your life? instead of busking your days away why don't you get a job? but you could always kid yourself, give a dumb thought that standing on your own maybe you could fight your way into the idol industry. and it's a crazy thought, but nine girls banding up together with nothing but their share of the rent for their too small apartment and their dreams saying - hey, let's give it a year. a year to make themselves known as an indie kpop sensation free of companies that rejected them and boundaries before they turn back to their everyday lives and move on without hitting the right notes. at the bottom of the ladder, it's doubtful (but hey, not impossible) that they can make it into the new idol generation but they may as well try.
