Four different people. Two different worlds.

Lee Jinki was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. From the day he was born, his future was already set out for him. Both academically gifted and musically talented, not to mention very good looking, he was a child any parent would love to have. However, with his whole life planned out before him Jinki has no ambition.

Lee Taemin, born the second son of a rather poor family, was constantly overshadowed by his older brother. He was a hard worker but all his accomplishments were always second best compared to his brother. Being the second born there were no expectations for him to succeed. He wanted to show them, show all of them, that he is never second best.

Lee Soonkyu grew up in a big family that only made enough to get by each day. She was the youngest of all daughters in her family. Her family was loving and supportive and even though they had occasional financial problems, they were happy. She did however have a dream, something that maybe she just wasn’t quite ready for.

Jessica Jung (Jung Sooyeon), a materialistic girl that grew up with all the luxuries you could ask for but she was never content, she always wanted more. Growing up in a demanding family she never stopped for less than perfect. When a girl has always gotten what she wanted and there suddenly becomes an obstacle in her way, she finally feels how it’s like to be threatened by competition.

Four different people have crossed paths with their fates intertwined.
