⤔   Tips on Avoiding SCs/Disabling

Following these tips will help protect not only you but also everyone else here. SCs/Disabling can’t be entirely prevented but these measures will help decrease the chances of it happening! Make sure to complete the ‘privacy settings’ section because this is the most important section !

Privacy Settings:

☇ ‘who can send me friend requests’ ⤔ friends of friends

☇ set everything else to ⤔ friends only

☇ ‘do you want other search engines to link to your timeline?’ ⤔ uncheck

☇ change your profile picture(s) to ‘private’

Additional Suggestions:

 ☇ don’t add/accept too many friend requests at once ⤔ spread it throughout the day, over multiple days

☇ avoid spamming

☇ DO NOT REPORT ANYONE ELSE

☇ avoid setting ‘seoul, korea’ and your chara’s birthplace as your hometown/currently living in  ⤔ using your actual location is a good step ; you can set this to seen by ‘only me’

☇ avoid using your chara’s hangul or english name

☇ avoiding using your chara’s real birthday, but also note down what birthday you choose for them in case you get sc’ed. changing just the year is another option

☇ don’t add ‘sm entertainment’, ‘school of performing arts seoul’, or any other organization, company, or school as your ‘currently attending/working” ⤔ this links you to other people’s suggested friends

☇ add another email/phone number/security question for safety

☇ avoid uploading ographic images ⤔ c/p links are said to be safer

☇ remove everyone who has been disabled from a group chat because since facebook uses an algorithm, this may increase your chance of getting disabled

☇ leave all previous groups/group chats, and delete all old friends outside of the roleplay. this will help secure your account

☇ use only one browser while signed in. this decreases the chances that facebook thinks you’re being hacked
