Description
Chanyeol and Baekhyun are best friends since they were really young. Little Baekhyun's favorite past time was to go to the shore to find some of his fantasy, much to Little Chanyeol's protests.
You wanna know why?
Surely, they were best friends since pre-school. Little Baekhyun was running with his classmates in the playground when he saw a super small child with curly tops and chubby cheeks, crying in one corner, looking for his lost ferret pet. Being taller than the literally small child, Little Baekhyun crouched down at the crying child and took his hand. Being six months older than the other six-year-old, Baekhyun took care of his little friend.
Little Baekhyun and Little Chanyeol agreed to be best friends.
Until they graduated from highschool, Teen Baekhyun became envious of Teen Chanyeol's height growth. When they were in pre-school and elementary, Baekhyun was a head taller than Chanyeol but when they graduated in high school, it seems that Teen Chanyeol was very close to Baekhyun's height.
Sadly, after their graduation, Chanyeol's father died of Larynx cancer. His mother left him to be with her new boyfriend and his Yura-noona got married when she learned she was pregnant.
Baekhyun then helped Chanyeol pack his things and told him to just live with him and his family. At first, Chanyeol just smiled and told his friend that he'll just have to work and rent an apartment but Baekhyun and his older brother Baekbeom insisted and Chanyeol ended up living with them.
They live in the same roof, they have the same jobs, they are both gays (they don't like each other because they see each other as brothers) and they suprisingly have the same opinions, well, except for one.
One opinion.
and the fact that they love the same beautiful male who they met when they were very young, not remembering him as a childhood encounter.

December 1998,
"Chanyeol, come!!" Little Baekhyun ran towards the seashore, followed by Little Chanyeol, who kept on crying and sniffling,
"I dowanna go to shore, Lee Sunmi!" the smaller boy cried while pouting at the May '92-liner, who just laughed at the spoiled brat,
"Come here, you'll gonna love the sea!" Little Baekhyun stated, sounding undaunted, looking really happy.
"I wanna eat, Baekkie I'm hungryyyy!" the November '92-liner whined, and Little Baekhyun laughed,
"I'll ask Baekbommie-hyung to buy us pizza, let's just go watch--- woah!"
The little kid was stunned when he saw a rock from a distance,
"Oh wow!!! CHANYEOLIE, A MERMAID!!!!"
Little Chanyeol shook his head angrily,
"Umma told me mermaids are not real!"
"Hahahaha!!! Whatever, Park Dobi! I've seen one!"
"THEY ARE NOT REAL!!!" The much smaller boy tantrums and Little Baekhyun just ignored him and slowly approached the mermaid, well it was not a mermaid, it was a cute little merboy sitting on a rock,
'Park Yoda is dumb and stupid!'
"Hahaha! It's your loss, Ferret King!"
"Stop insulting my pet, Lee Sunmi!"
But before he could approach the small boy, he called out bubbly and introduced, big mistake!
"Hello pretty Mermaid! I'm Baekhyunnie! What's your name?"
The mermaid, oh sorry, the merboy, who was literally short, (much, much shorter than Little Chanyeol) with a very blonde hair and white skin, looking super fluffy and cute, looked back and then started crying,
"Mm-maaaaaaa!" the cute little merboy jumped in the water, green tail swooshing, then disappeared.
Little Baekhyun pouted,
"I'm not a monster? Do I look like a monster?!"
He could hear Little Chanyeol laughing in the distance,
"Stop laughing you spoiled brat!"
The little merboy swam his way to his mother, who eagerly embraced her crying baby,
"Mm-ma!!!!! Humans found me!!!"
His mommy giggled,
"Oh my little Junmyeoni! It's okay. Not all humans are bad."
"But Appa told me if I go near them, my tail will be filleted?" the innocent seven-year-old prince asked and the queen mermaid glared at her husband, who made a peace sign,
"You're scaring him, Siwon!"
The King Merman approached his wife and his youngest son,
"But I just want to protect our Junmyeon from those nasty humans, look at how cute he is."
The little blonde merboy looked at his father with wide eyes, and his pink lips slowly turning into a cute pout,
"But, I want humans, appa!"
