In 2005 Super Junior debuted twelve members, added a member in 2006, then another in 2007 and another in 2008 before losing 2 members by 2010.
After years of popularity they decided it was time for something new. In 2018 Super Junior officially left SM Entertainment and all but fell off the map. There was no news from them, no media information, nothing.
Two years after that in 2020 they came back with a boom. When they left SM they creadted their own entertainment called SuJu Media and have been getting trainees like crazy. At first they were all fans but then people started auditioning for them like any other. By 2020 they had near 100 trainees and were planning on debuting a new group.
Each member of Super Junior was going to hand select two trainees to be in a survival show. They were going to debut a twelve member girl group, all of which will have come from the 30 girls in the competition.
