Inspirations: my own experience with a close relative, When You're Gone and Hush Hush by Avril Lavigne

This is the first fanfic I made that includes character death. I'm sure all of us, once in our lives, experienced the pain of death one way or another. Rereading this, I realize how depressed I was back then. It was too much to bear. I channelled the hollow feeling in my chest through this story and I'm glad I did. I somehow managed to pull myself together and move on. This story is a reminder that no matter how crushed you are; how difficult it is to stand up and live, the little miracles in life and the love of the people around us will help us get through the storm.

There is ALWAYS HOPE.

[The scene where Kai attempts to jump off the bridge but is stopped by a flock of ascending doves is from the movie Koizora.]

My favourite story by you is 'What Happens in Changsha Stays In My Heart'. I think this was one of the first Kailu fanfics that I had ever read at that time and it just dragged me into this fantom. I don't really know why I like it so much. I read it over and over again and it seems so realistic and the ending was so mesmerizing. Like one of you just have to turn your head a little bit. Anyways I think this was simple and nothing flashy but one of those stories that you come around every once that just touches your heart and is like I'm gonna make myself at home.
Good job on this fanfic author-nim and all the other amazing works that you have done whether you posted them or them or not. I really appreciate your work and I'm really thankful to you for sticking with Kailu because I know it's not one of the most popular fantom. I hope you can continue writing wherever it is and be happy with your own work 'cause it is really good.
