Destiny's Timing
Description
What happens when destiny's timing decides to hand IU and Wooyoung an experience beyond both their imaginations? What happens when they're faced with a life or death situation where the only people they can depend on is each other? Will they be able to get the future they both wanted in their hearts, or did destiny just give them a chance to say goodbye?
Foreword
Wooyoung plopped down on his sofa and leaned back, staring at the ceiling. He played with a cushion next to him, throwing it up in the air and catching it again. Then, he groaned and reached for his phone. After the thousand and one messages he left her, he had expected her to at least give him one reply. There were no new messages.
“Haven’t heard from her?”
Wooyoung turned around, surprised at the sudden interruption of his thoughts. Junho.
He nodded.
Junho gave him a sympathetic look. “Maybe it just wasn’t meant to be.”
Wooyoung’s jaws tightened. How could he ever know that it wasn’t meant to be if he had never even had the chance to tell her how he felt? How could he possibly know if it was never meant to be or not.
He threw his phone across the room from frustration.
“Just let it go. This isn’t like you,” Junho said, leaving the room after shooting Wooyoung a disapproving look.
Wooyoung deepened his breath, trying to calm himself down. He couldn’t let it go - he just couldn’t. Nothing had even started, and he was already refusing to let it go. He knew he was acting different. He was the funny one, the one who was always happy. He was the one that lightened the mood, but he just couldn’t anymore.
He had let her get away, and she didn’t even know that he wanted to keep her right next to him. She hadn’t even known.
He suddenly grabbed his jacket and rushed out the door.
Once he got outside, he felt heavy raindrops fall onto his face. He kept running. Some of the raindrops even fell into his eyelashes, preventing his eyes from seeing properly.
He just wanted to tell her once. Even if it killed him.
Author's Note: I know the description and this foreword/prologue thing is probably a little weird, but I promise it will get better. I'm just trying to keep the more exciting storyline a secret for the actual chapters (:
