 C  hoi Hyosung sighed to herself as she leaned against the back of the leather chair she sat on. Her monitor was on with two windows open, each with the background of potential members. Folders were lined neatly on the surface of the glass desk in front of her as she bit her lip in contemplation and crossed her legs. Park Jinyoung and Kim Shidae had just contacted her with their deadline and she had thought it was a good idea to brush up on the progress of the trainees. With her PR Team constantly checking the media after they dropped the video of their prime choice as one of the members, Hyosung knew that she had to make the first cut. Fifteen trainees from each company were chosen to be a part of the project and monthly evaluations have been put together ever since Artemis Entertainment came to be last year. Her eyebrows furrowed as she took one of the files that was linked to one of the girl's on the monitor and began to scan its contents from the last evaluation that was on file.

Kang Hana.

She frowned as she realized that the girl hadn't improved since her last evaluation due to the notes that her coaches had written down. From what she remembered on the occasions that she visited, Hana was a bright girl with a soothing voice, but it was her work ethic that's been holding her back. Just because of the high praises she's been receiving, the notes showed her that the girl had been slacking off. Hyosung sighed and shook her head in disapppointment. If Hana didn't pick it up and it showed during the upcoming evaluation, then the girl would have to be cut.

"Knock, knock."

Looking up, she met eyes with a good friend of hers. She smiled slightly and motioned for him to come in. Setting down the file in front of her, Hyosung straightened herself before greeting him. 

"Minjun-ah, is it already time for the meeting?" 

He nodded as he made himself comfortable and scanned the contents that were on her desk. Graphs and charts were strewn over the files she was looking over and an unfinished cup of coffee sat idly on the side. A frame of their friends was sitting in between her pen holder and stapler. Minjun chuckled to himself as he picked up the frame and looked at Hyosung in amusement. 

"Looks like you're having the time of your life right now."

"Oh shut up, Minjun-ah. They emailed me the deadline around two am, hence the last minute email I sent out."

Straightening up at the mention of the deadline, he looked at her in alarm. "How much time do we have?" 

Hyosung, who was gathering the things she needed for the meeting, nodded towards the yellow post-it note that was stuck on the corner of her monitor. In big red letters, Minjun read the date.

"Novemer 19th? So that means we roughly have a month to finalize the lineup."

He got up and joined her by her side once she left her desk and headed towards the meeting room. She nodded to his previous words and greeted fellow employees that they passed by. The clicks of her heels echoed through the hallways as they rounded a corner and found the others already filing into the room. 

Minjun chuckled and slung his arm over Hyosung and said, "Can you imagine that we actually made it this far? Who knew that you'd be my boss?"

She smiled to herself and playfully nudged his stomach. "We worked our asses off for a long time Minjun-ah. It's about time we settle down, y'know?"

He nodded in agreement as they entered the meeting room where the rest of the main staff for the girl group project was seated. Hyosung and Minjun took their seats at their respective places which were at the head of the table and to the right of her. Smiling at her co-workers, she set down her things and pulled her chair closer towards the table.

"Alright, let's get this show on the road. Have you all emailed me your votes on as to what the group's name is? I had three names in mind, but needed your input on it."

Seeing everyone nodding their heads, Hyosung smiled and turned her attention to the man sitting to her left. "Give me updates, starting with Changmin-oppa. How are the girls doing with their workouts and diets?"

Go Changmin, who was the assigned trainer in the company, chuckled as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Getting straight to the point now, are we Hyo-ah?" 

Raising an eyebrow at him, she smirked and said, "Of course, now spill."

Looking down at his notes, Changmin complied with her requests.

"Overall, most of the girls are doing fine with their diets, although a couple of girls still haven't met the set weight we assigned to a couple of them. Of course, those that are more of a dancer are stronger than the others, but here is the list of those that have either fallen behind on their work out schedule or haven't quite yet met their requirements. I am concerned about the health for some of the trainees that have been overworking themselves, so I've made a note to check up on them myself."

"Make sure you do that right after this meeting, oppa. We don't need to over-exert our trainees. We want them to work hard, yes, but their health and well-being is our number one priority. If they're being stubborn about their overall state and you know something is wrong with them, don't hesitate to send them to my office."

Changmin nodded and wrote down a note to himself. He slid a manila folder over to her and she nodded in the direction towards the female sitting next to him as she moved the folder closer to her.

"Eunae-ah, how are the girls doing with their lessons?" Hyosung asked as her eyes scanned the charts and notes that were on the papers inside the folder that was just given to her.

The said girl perked up at the mention of her name and smiled slightly. Eunae flicked over the thin notebook she held in her hands to Hyosung and pointed towards it.
