Small back story before the actual fanfiction... O^O

The year is 1355 in Goryeo Dynasty. King Gongmin, having denied a child he had with a mere slave 4 years back, meets a young mysterious noble woman by the name of MinJi, who he falls in love. 10 years of courting MinJi he then has her secretly become his concubine and gives her the gift of a child after  6 years of being his concubine. But in that same year of 1371  the death of his close friend and counselor Shin Don the King has a sudden change of mind and decides to acknowlege the young Monino (The child who he had denied years back and later renamed woo) and gives him the title of Crown Prince. 

King GongMin then sends his true love far away from the palace in secret and before any of the corrupt officials figure out the King has hidden away a pregnant concubine. Before leaving MinJi begs the King to reconsider but the King refuses. He hands her the true Kings seal which is given to the Crown Prince.

"I may have acknowledged Woo as the crown Prince to the public and court but do not be distarught my love. There are too many corrupt officials in my court and i couldnt do anything else but acknowledge the boy. In my heart the true Crown Prince and Heir to the throne is this child. Now take the seal and these documents, MinJi-"

"GongMin-"

"Please! You must keep yourself safe for me and our child.... I love you MinJi... i hope i can meet you in my next life.... Now go... before its too late..." King GongMin urged MinJi away.

Reluctantly and Miserably MinJi was taken away by her brother and moved to the countryside where she gave birth to a young and healthy prince. She then opened the letter. There were two letters, One marked boy and one marked girl. She opened the one marked boy.

'If you read this letter then you have now given birth. Congratulations for that! I also congratulate you on giving birth to this nations Crown Prince. I have decided to name him Wang Min, Crown Prince Wang Min. He will forever be the ruler of this nation of Goryeo and I shall oficially make you my Queen. Know that i love you now and forever my dear queen... and now of course, the mother of children. Do not fret MinJi, I will take back my power and make it safe for the both of you. So for now stay with your family, I will soon call for you and our son so patiently wait for me. I have given your family instructions on what to do in case something goes wrong. You can ask Yi Minjung about these instructions after you've regained your energy. Love You now and forever

GongMin'

MinJi obbed silently hile holding the newly born Crown Prince Wang Min and vowed to protect the child with her life and help him reach to his position in life as crown prince.

2 years alter the King had passed away suspiciously during his slumber and Crown Prince Woo took the throne at the ge of 11. MinJi vowed to avenge her lover. Wang Min, eventhough never having met his older brother, still considered King woo his family and so when woo was killed and dethroned as well he vowed to get revenge for his fatehr and brother.

As Wang Min grew older he had only one goal and that was to take his placein the throne and with the help of his maternal family he will achieve that goal. Years passed by and Kings were passing as well.

Not until King GonGyang took the throne did Wang Min feel prepared to take the throne. He devised a plan and with an army of loyal soldiers caught the current King while he was on a hunting trip in the countryside. King GonGyang was captured and later exiled. Prince Wang Min then presented the seal from King GongMin. He was accepted as the King displeasing many people. His coronation was the day after the revolt Jan 1, 1392.

This day markedd the end of the Goryeo Era and the beginning of the MinJoseon era. The start of it all... 

Most Characters in the story are fictious while some i took from actual History. MinJoseon era is something i also made up so please have that in mind. Thank you.      :)
