What defines a family exactly? The most normal definition of a family is living with your biological parents and siblings in a special kind of place. Wherever it may be an apartment, house or shed. But for Mrs Kim or rather Kim Jongok a family is where the heart is. The family doesn't have to be biological but you just have to care about those around you to feel like a family. From her point of view there are a lot of normal definition "families" that aren't really families.

So she decided to do something about that. Ever since 2002 she have taken legal actions against familys that doesn't treat their children well, children who lost their parents and those who never had any parents to begin with and just have been stuck at an adoption home. She now has six kids in her family, mostly teens. 

Everyone of these teens come from different backgrounds, they have different personas and dreams but to her they are all family. A bit broken but still family.
