Dimming the Lights
It began with a strange question and ended with a realization that could be taken as an answer, I suppose. But the part you’re probably interested in is the middle, am I correct? Then I regret to tell you that it isn’t terribly interesting. There is very little change of scenery or cast. There is, along with a few minor characters:
-A boy
-A girl
-A book
-And, of course, the angels.
But this isn’t a love story, mind you. It isn’t even a story about love (the two are different), if anything it’s a story about taming. But I’m getting ahead of myself.
Anyways, the question: Did the sheep eat the rose?
Foreword
Hello everybody :)
This is for MusicChibi's Challenges, Big Bang prompt #7. I'm finally back from my hiatus, so it seemed as good as time as any to post the foreword for this.
This fanfic is largely inspired by The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. If you've never read it, I highly recommend it. I love the idea of a child teaching an adult about life, so that is what this story will be about.
I apologize in advance if this story comes off as too depressing. I tend towards sappy, maudlin characters, mostly because I'm exactly the same way. I'll try my hardest to keep the plot from getting overly dark and sad.
I'm aiming for this to be a oneshot, but knowing me, it will probably end up being longer.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy reading it, no matter what the length is.
