My Boy, At Dawn
Description
A non-linear look into the relationship between poet Min Yoongi and dance teacher Jung Hoseok.
-----
When Hoseok’s text comes through it feels like a violation of the peace, even if Yoongi’s phone is on silent. He feels like he should apologise to the silence for disturbing it.
I happened to mention your name in a conversation with one of my dance students who is apparently really into poetry and she lost her mind
She was so excited it made me excited too I felt like I had a famous friend
I can’t believe you’re dropping my name in conversations to make your students like you
Foreword
as i said, this is non-linear so there'll be a lot of jumping back and forth in time. i just wanted to clarify beforehand in case it's confusing <3
sorry i haven't posted in so long!! i've been doing a lot of writing that's not fanfiction, plus this has been in the works for a LONG time and i didn't feel right starting anything else while i was writing this. it's probably the most personal things i've ever posted; a lot of it was pulled from personal experience or was used to work through some stuff, so i spent a long time editing and rewriting it to get it right.
that said, i hope you enjoyed, please go easy on me and upvotes/comments are always appreciated <3
(also all the poetry excerpts in this are mine apart from the lunatic one which are actually yoongi's lyrics from save me!! just thought i'd let you know in case you were curious!!)
