Mina, Chaeyoung and Momo had found a small cave and had decided to reside in it for the night. They had been extremely dehydrated with only having fruits as their source of water. 

"I'm dying." Momo groaned while biting fruits. Her lips are cracked and stomach growling in unsatisfactory from not having meat the whole day. They hadn't been successful in catching any animals today. 

"Are you okay?" Mina crawled over to cupped Momo's chin, but the latter dodged her touch. 

"I'm fine." Momo mumbled before dumping her fruit and turning on to her side to sleep. Mina sighed loudly and laid striaght onto her back staring at the Rocky cave above her. She could hear crickets crooking outside the cave and fear of wild animals lurking out in the dark. They had stuffed the oppenin of the cave with leaves and woods yet it still felt like the beasts would barge in anytime. 

She to her right side and glanced at Chaeyoung's tiny back. Momo's vreathinb behind her was slowed and she knew she was sleeping. Chaeyoung however wasntw sleeping. She was tracing her finger along the Rocky wall with her head propped on her arm. 

Mina tapped the shorter girl's shoulder and the girl turned over to glanced at her.she raised her brow in question.

"Are you mad at me?" Mina questioned straight forwardly. Chaeyoung's eyes widened and she blinked several times before turning her body around to face Mina. Their proximity barely 10 inches apart.

"No." Chaeyoung whispered. Her heart raced and thumped loudly against her chest she was afraid Mina could hear it.

"Then why did you ignored me today?" Mina eyes shoned with hurt and lips dropped to a frown. Chaeyoung sighed a little and mebtallm slapped herself for worrying this precious girl.

"I-Im not..." Chaeyoung wasn't sure what to say.

"Are you in love with Jeongyeon?" Mina asked her, cutting Chaeyoung's stuttering. Chaeyoung took a full second to process what Mina had said.

"What? No way!" She half whispered half shouted. She quickly slapped her hands against to shut herself. They both turned when Momo groaned, before letting out a snort and continued snoring lightly. 

Both Mina and Chaeyoung breathed a sigh of relief before their eyes met and they burst out in silent laughter. When they had finally stopped, they looked at each other silently. 

"I'm not in love with Jeongyeon." Chaeyoung whispered out of the blue. "I don't know why you're asking that. Jeongyeon and I are literally like siblings. I can't imagine even liking her, that way." Chaeyoung feigned a dramatic shiver and Mina giggled silently.

"Why not though?"

"Because we grew up together. And..." Chaeyoung had a long pause. "I'm straight." She finished. Chaeyoung'a chest felt heavier for some reason. 

"Oh." Mina's eyes widened, her cheeks flushing in embarrassment. "I assumed..." 

"That I'm gay?"  Chaeyoung raised an eyebrow at the flustered latter.

"Well, no, I mean yeah, I mean-" Mina's winced slightly from her own words and Chaeyoung laughed silently at how adorable the girl looked right now.

"Okay I get it." Chaeyoung patted the Mina head. "I give off the vibe?"

"Huhh, I guess?" Mina gave her an awkward smile and head tilt. She had assumed her gaydar worked perfectly.

"So how about you? When did you first found out you liked girls?" Chaeyoung was genuinely curious.

"I dontd exactly renember." Mina scratched her forehead with a finger, seemingly trying to recall distant memory. " I guess I've always found girls utterly attractive when I was doing ballet. Like I would always glanced at the girl who was stretching before me."  She covered her face with her hands in embarrassment. Chaeyoung found that gesture unbelievably lovely.

"Do your parents know?"Chaeyoung's heart beat hard against her chest. She had to inhale slowly so the latter doesn't notice.

"Yes." Mina peeked through her fingers at Chaeyoung. " I told them a few years back when I introduced them my first girlfriend."

"How did they react?" A lump formed in Chaeyoung's throat and she forced it down to her stomach by swallowing.

"Well," Mina sighed at first."they were shocked obviously and tried to convince me that it was a phase. It got worse when they found out said girl friend cheating on me." Chaeyoung's mouth droped.
