Instead of Go Ha Jin, woman of 21st century, stuck in the body of a 16 year old Goryeo lady, we get to see how the events on Scarlet Heart Ryeo unfolds without her presence. This fiction tries to follow up history closely, and taking creative liberties with certain parts of the story which resulting in some similarities to the k-drama as well. It follows at the begining pretty much to the k-drama, and will diverge somewhere along the lines.

And yes, the story is not Hae Soo eccentric. Since the focus of the stories are the players for the throne. Hence, it will focus on the princes. There are both major and minor departures from the k-drama you're used to watching. There are many characters involved in this story, some of which you've seen on the television and some of which you probably didn't. 

Bear with me. I'm not used to writing through multiple different POVs and it may be awkward at times. Please comment on the writing style too. 

Last but not least, you might be reading characters that are very OOCs, compared to the ones you watched in k-drama. There are no clear cut villains here.
