Kim Minseok, Prince of the Kingdom of Noctis; Jumnyeon and YiFan were his fathers and therefore the Kings, they told their son that in order to take his place as future King he needed to be married,their kingdom was going through a big economic stability problem, that's how he was introduced to Xiao Luhan, prince of Nubila, one of the richest kingdoms of the world and his soon to be husband, prince Minseok refused to this fact because of one single reason.he was in love with that one servant who came every day without fail to clean his room under his watchful eyes,his parents were furious because of his poor choice, deciding to sail for in search of another suitor for their son. Before leaving Jumnyeon made his son promise that if they were to comeback without someone, he was to marry Xiao without any doubts, he agreed to his father's petition and so they went ahead to their plan; the didint know about the bad weather, a really dangerous storm happened while they were in the sea, unluckily for them, their ship was surrounded by a giant wave leaving it and it's crew deep down on the sea; before long days of waiting, and searching the kingdom gave up and announced them dead. Minseok in honor to the promise given to his father married Xiao burying deep his love for the servant.
