Chapter 2: HOLY MOLY, this is only a one-shot but the world is so rich and there's so much culture, and backstory and waaah, you're just amazing. T.T The interaction between Yunho and Jessica was brief, but I totally felt the love there. "A mortal woman loving a mortal man." That was just so beautiful and the cadence of your writing, like wow O_o
As soon as Jessica told the guards to secure Yunho until the ship was out of sight, I had a fit because I knew she would be staying. It's so sad. She chose duty over love but I understood that. She felt guilty and she was still first and foremost a princess.
Huhuhu I'm all sad now T.T I'll need to read a light hearted fic next to get rid of my Yunsica angst. You're so good at showing rather than telling, and I always struggle with that in my stories. Also, I love reading romance in your stories. It's fits in naturally, nothing rushed. Great oneshot ^.^

Chapter 2: Oh wow the ending got to me TT
Idk but this was really beautiful. The characters felt so natural and I really liked the idea of forbidden love. The story was great, I liked it. Thank you so much for writing this *^^*

Chapter 2: Despite her forbidden love for Yunho, it was so admirable that Jessica stood with her people and died beside them. It was beautifully written and the emotion came across very well. I really enjoyed it♡.

Chapter 2: Aw. Despite having a pretty good idea of what was going to happen by the end, I was still trying to push away the heavy feels by that final line. >.> I really loved the way that you opened with a quote and ended with a quote, both of which were quite apt and powerful. I wasn't sure exactly what the story was going to be about, but you certainly painted a believable picture. There's no denying that faith/dogma can cling to you and give you second thoughts even when all the facts in the world might be present to prove otherwise.

For something so short, it's also both incredibly bittersweet. I will mention that there were a few typos and I could have had a little more description of the characters, the doomed island, and the ships in the harbor, but overall, I'm quite pleased with how everything played out. The brief backstory you gave us was enough to set the stage for their meeting and relationship, and how she felt about her people, and how they felt about her, were all the reasons we needed to support her final decision.
