Chapter 1
Crashed and FracturedHis eyes were the first thing I noticed. Those chocolate brown irises locked onto mine and the world seemed to slow down. Almost stop entirely. Except, that wasn't just something created all in my head, not just some illusion of a teenager that thinks love at first sight could possibly exist. No, the world did change. Suddenly, bullet trains were the speed of inching snails, and the eye contact we shared that should've only lasted for a split second, instead lasted for eternities. Not because of my heart that no doubt pounded incessantly at the sight of such sharp, intelligent eyes but because time had altered. Everything had altered. All except for him. He moved like an olympic swimmer against the river current of time, and somehow managed to wrap his arms around me. He managed to stabilize my falling body as I just stared helplessly into his eyes, completely at his mercy. The man who defeated Time.
