It took Jimin more than a year to forget Yoongi. He understood that he hasn’t been in love with him but just felt very attached to him. He was mysterious at first and when he knew him better, he just felt like a very close friend and since he was very young, he mistook his feelings for love.

Taehyung never told anything of this to anyone, not even to their group of friends. Jimin didn’t want to be pitied for what happened and Taehyung agreed with that. However, he felt that his friend had changed and was afraid that he would never be the same again. Even when Jimin was laughing out loud, there was a glint of sadness in his eyes; even when he was smiling his brightest smile, his eyes didn’t melt into crescents. When he was eating his favourite meal, he wasn’t enjoying it to the fullest. There was something lacking in Jimin, like a part of his soul had been taken by this . Taehyung still resented Yoongi for what he did to Jimin. He broke him and tore his heart into pieces and Taehyung doubted that he could ever fix his friend.

The first 5 months after the incident, Jimin went to see a psychologist. He insisted that he didn’t need any therapy of that kind but his parents had insisted. So he went and after the first session, when he got out, Taehyung saw that something had changed in him. He had realised something that helped him to get better faster. Jimin never told him what it was but he didn’t need to know. He just wanted his best friend to get well soon, he couldn’t bear seeing him suffer like that. After 5 months of therapy, Jimin stopped going. He said that he had talked with the therapist and that she said that he could stop coming if he wanted and every time he had a hard time or wanted to talk to someone, he could go find her. So Taehyung let everything slide. He knew, deep inside, that Jimin had gone to talk to her sometimes but didn’t say anything about it. So it stayed like that until they entered high school.

When they entered high school, Jimin was very excited, he reminded Taehyung of the kid he had met in 8^th grade. His eyes were sparkling and there wasn’t a glint of sadness in his eyes. They were just full of pure excitement and happiness. Taehyung beamed at this sight and took his first step in the world of high school.

The first day was kind of hectic for the two teenagers so Taehyung proposed to go to a nearby café so that they could chill with the others but they all declined. So Taehyung went alone, he needed to relax. When he entered the café, he went to the counter and ordered an iced chocolate. He waited at the counter and when his drink came, he quickly thanked the worker and went to find a table. As he was walking carelessly to find a table, he bumped into a guy. His chocolate spilled all over the guy and Taehyung quickly apologised before looking carefully at him. He had silky black hair, big-round eyes, a big nose and cute lips. He was very cute. He saw that he was wearing the same uniform as him, which indicated that they went to the same school.

“I’m so sorry… Are you okay ? It must be ice-cold” Taehyung said.

“I-It’s okay…” The boy replied, shivering.

“Oh gosh… I see we go to the same school so would you want to join me and my friends for lunch tomorrow  ? I could make it up to you like that ?” Taehyung suggested.

“Oh...Um… If you want… I’ll see you tomorrow I guess ? Bye.” The stranger said and flew out the café.

Taehyung looked at him going out of the café and decided to go back to the dorms.

The next day at lunch, Taehyung searched for the guy he had spilled his chocolate on. He looked all around the cafeteria and finally spotted him sitting alone in a corner, far from everyone. Since Taehyung was with Jimin, he decided to go grab the boy with him.

“Yo ! You remember me ? I’m the iced chocolate guy ! You are supposed to eat with me and my friends today !” Taehyung exclaimed when they reached the table, making the boy jump. He noticed that the boy’s name tag said Jeon Jungkook so he decided to call him by his name.

“Jungkook ! Come with us ! Hey !” He said to Jungkook but he wasn’t really hearing him. He was staring at Jimin in shock, as well as Jimin was looking at him. Taehyung smiled and decided to just pull him to their table. He grabbed his arm and dragged him to the centre of the cafeteria where was their table. They sat down and just then, the rest of the team came. They asked questions non-stop and Taehyung was pleased to see that they were all getting along well.

As weeks passed, Jungkook became more comfortable around everyone. Well, almost. He was still awkward around Jimin. Taehyung wondered why, Jimin was an easy-going person, he was always joyful and all. But Jimin too was awkward with Jungkook. So he decided to talk to Jimin. They were back at the dorms one evening after class and as Jimin sat on the couch, Taehyung suddenly talked.

“Jiminie, why are you awkward with Jungkookie ?” His eyes widened in surprise.

“Wh-what ? N-no, I’m n-not…” he stuttered out.

“Jiminie you’re lying. Tell me what’s up.”

Jimin lowered his eyes and began to play with the hem of his shirt.

“It’s just that I find him very cute…” he mumbled.

“What ?!? You have a crush on Kookie ?!? Seriously ?!? It’s been ages since you had a crush on someone ! I’m so happy for you Jiminie !” Taehyung exclaimed, hugging Jimin.

“I like him a lot Tae. I don’t know how to act around him. I want to confess but I’m afraid he’ll reject me because I’m not enough for him or worse…” Jimin’s voice cracked. Taehyung immediately understood what this meant.

“Jimin-ah. I already told you to stop thinking about this . Jungkook will never hurt you and I’m sure he feels the same way. He’s so awkward when you’re around he blushes crazily and all he’s a cute fluff.”

“He’s mine !” Jimin said, glaring at Taehyung and hitting his arm hard.

“Ow ! I don’t want him anyway, you can have him !” Taehyung said, laughing and going to take a shower. Jimin giggled and laid down on the couch.

The following day, Jimin tried to be less awkward with Jungkook by talking with him, joking and it worked because at the end of the day, they became inseparable.

The next morning, when Taehyung came at school, he saw that Jimin and Jungkook were already there, chatting. He approached them and tried to enter the conversation as well but couldn’t. So he gave up and went to the others. He wasn’t upset but happy that Jimin and Jungkook were finally becoming closer and he hoped that one of them would soon confess. It was so obvious that they were in love with each other, they were the only ones to not know about it.

One week later, on Monday morning, Jimin and Jungkook were holding hands, sharing shy glances and whispering in the other’s ear. Taehyung ran to them.

“WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN ?!? WHY AM I NOT INCLUDED IN THAT !‼” he screamed, hugging his two friends.

“Tae, don’t scream this loud, everyone is looking at us !” Jimin scolded. “Friday night, Kookie confessed and asked me to be his boyfriend. I said yes. We are officially a couple now !” Jimin said, genuinely happy and as red as a tomato-as well as Jungkook.

“Man, I’m so happy for you ! Both of you ! I wish you a long and happy life filled with love !” Taehyung shouted, throwing his hands in the air, a wide smile painted across his face.

Jungkook giggled and hugged Jimin quickly before anyone could see and the others came, automatically congratulating the couple.

I know that the request wasn't this detailed but when I finished this part, I asked myself 'Am I really going to finish that like that ? I would have some questions left unanswered if I finish this like that.' and decided to make a third one. I'm still working on it and on my other fics and with uni soon starting, I'll do my best to finish the third part and make sure that there isn't a fourth part lol
