“He invited you over for movies? He’s playing the ‘Netflix and chill’ card on you!”

Youngjae had told his best friend that his classmate, who is also his lab partner, who is also his long-time crush had invited him over for a movie night.

“Mark hyung, he isn’t gay though. Well, at least he hasn’t said so. Either way, nothing is gonna happen.”

Mark scoffed and patted the other on his shoulder. “Of course he hasn’t told you. He’s waiting for the right moment. I mean look at me and Jinyoung. He’s as gay as they come. He didn’t know I was gay, but he took the chance anyway. Now we’re happily dating, like you and Jaebum can be!”

Youngjae sighed. His friend was right. But also wrong.

He could’ve just been invited over as a friend, or maybe Jaebum did want to be more than just lab partners.

Mark looked at his friend, shocked. “Youngjae, where have you been these last three years? Under a damn rock?” He said it with a laugh, so Youngjae knew he was just messing with him.

Mark had left Youngjae’s house a couple of hours ago so his friend could get ready for his “not a movie date” with Jaebum.

Jaebum is one year Youngjae’s senior in college.They went to the same high school as well, but only when Youngjae graduated did Jaebum finally notice him.
