Mino isn’t the type to get easily affected by other people’s actions. Often he shrugs it off. But as he quietly sat besides the same boy who had walked into homeroom class a few days and captured his attention, he couldn’t help but feel slightly disparaged at the way he side casted his cheery introduction earlier on. Mino scoffed, staring at the boy in a not so subtle way for the 5th time during the lesson.

Who does he think he is?

 The question remained in his head and Mino was dying with curiosity to find out. He also couldn’t help but stare at the slight gash on the boy’s   pink plump lips that Mino had come to admire since their first encounter.

“Are you going to keep doing that” The boy turned to Mino, voice barely a whisper, his gaze emotionless.

Ah, finally got his attention.  Mino flashed him an innocent smile and shrugged his shoulders.

“I have no clue what you’re talking about chingu”. The boy’s gaze continued to be fixed on Mino.

“You’ve been staring at me since class began, also I’m not sure if you’re aware but we’re not friends”

His voice was hostile. Mino choosing to ignore the last part of his sentence dropped his gaze on the young boy’s lips.  For a moment he didn’t speak, only looking at the boys lips, when he lifted his gaze to his face, he was surprised at the light blush that crept up all over the young boy’s cheeks.

Did he just blush? Mino smirked, reaching over and tapping the young boy on the shoulder.

“Everyone’s friends here, are you some sort of a loner” Mino spoke, pointing at the seated pairs in his class who sat chatting away albeit their teacher’s glares to keep silent.

The boy’s face returned to being cold, shrugging Mino’s hand off.

“Keep staring at the front”

“And what if I don’t want to? Mino asked challengingly.  Mino was enjoying this too much.  

The boy whipped his head around, fixing him with a cold stare.  Before he could utter another word Mino cut him off.

“What happened to your lip?  For a split second the young boy looks panicked, his eyes darting here and there. He avoids looking at Mino.

“None of your damn business” He says sharply but Mino can hear his voice is wounded.

He chooses to leave him be, attempting to focus in the time remaining for the rest of the class. But Mino, being rather nosey can’t help but wonder more about him.

After a few hours of labouring studying, it is finally time to eat. Mino, with Seunghoon in tow heads to their usual lunch place where they find the rest of their crew lounging around.

“Look who decided to grace us with his presence”. His friend Ji Ho retorts sarcastically. He reaches over, fist bumping Mino and Seunghoon.

“I think he finally realised how important we are” Minhyuk adds, with Tae Il nodding his head besides him. He looks up briefly from his phone to greet his dongsaeng before retreating back to his screen.

Jaehyo waves at him, an eager smile plastered on his face.

“You remembered us, wow should we feel honoured? YuKwon dramatically stands up, bowing 90 degrees which results in Ji Hoon and Kyung to burst out laughing.

Mino was grateful to his crew. The 7 rowdy boys were once people he used to not socialise with but as they grew older, he found himself growing to tolerate them. No matter how arrogant and conceited Ji Ho was, or how oblivious his boyfriend and Mino’s favourite Hyung Tae Il was to everything al
