Journey of a thousand years

In the beautiful city of Beijing an ancient legend is known in every household. Many grandparents would tell their young that on top of the Jade Mountain there is a cocoon. Inside the cocoon holds the most beautiful maiden ever known to the three worlds. She was the daughter of a wealthy merchant who wanted to gain power by marrying her off to high officials. His plan was successful because the emperor himself fell in love with her. But no one predicted the Dark Lord of the demon world to fall in love with her and declared war on mankind. The heavenly saints were mankind’s natural allied and protected them. So much blood was shred and no one could see the end to the war. So the maiden made the ultimate sacrifice and gave up her life to end the world. No one knew what happened to her or the dark lord and many versions of the legend told different sides of the story.
