Kim Kibum was only 19, young and naive, when he sold his soul to Satan. He was only 19 when he sold his soul for his immortal love Jonghyun, the love who abusted him and cheated on him and left him immortal and alone. He went back over and over again to the same man, hoping each time that things had changed, that things would be better. There was a point he dated a man that he thought was going to change everything. His name was Joon and he was a paranormal hunter, and he made it is goal to get Kibum his soul back. Everything was perfect with Joon, soon they were engaged and life seemed perfect. Until Joon admitted that he had been cheating and Kibum kicked him out from his life forever. Kibum went back to Jonghyun one more time but eventually Kibum caught the drift that for him, things could never be perfect. Kibum was forever 19, abused and upset when he drove his car off a cliff one night. He was hoping he would somehow not make it, after a year and a half of being 19 forever, he was done with his neverending life. However he did find out that killing yourself while you're immortal doesn't work out quite how he was hoping, and instead the accident ended up with him in a coma for 5 months. When he woke up, he didn't remember anything about himself. He knew nothing about his past besides small bits and his curse: to always remember that he wasn't good enough, that he had never been good enough. To always know that he was trapped on Earth without the love that trapped him there. 

Upon waking up, the first place that Kibum went was to find his best friend who was on the of the only people that he had memories of, Lee Taemin. At the time that he left, Taemin was struggling with his current marriage to Choi Miho; things were heading to divorce fast. Kibum and Taemin argued constantly once Kibum returned. and one day they went their seperate ways. Not long after Taemin let go of Kibum, he let go of Minho. Kibum was intrigued with Minho, it started a silly school girl crush that he never intended on acting on but he did, he started hanging out with Minho, learning more about him. Choi Minho was a devil. he was a demon from Hell who not so willingly roamed the Earth, and that didn't scare Kibum the way it did Taemin. Despite all the hate Minho saw in the world, he found beauty in Kibum. There was something not only about his looks but about his sweet personality, about the mortal features left in him that intrigued Minho's desires. 

This is the story about two broken hearts, that mended into one. A love that hit its downs but never took their eyes off the ups. This is the story about a love so unique, its light shines brighter than all others.

a/n: kibums fav movie is phantom of the opera (because its mine too) and the title and such is based off a duet in the movie that reminds me SO MUCH like this couple. a/n: i tried writing this on my old account but i started it later in their story than i wanted to so im doing it here but im starting it earlier, before they fell in love and got together. this story is over 2 years in the making. no joke, it is a creation of both mine and my girlfriends and i am very very proud of it. i hope you guys all enjoy.
