If you don't know how pokémon go works, there are some explanations:

Lure Module: Lure modules can be attached to Pokéstops, in order to lure Pokémon to that location. One player drops the lure module, but it then works for all players - for 30 minutes only. A lure module costs 100 Pokécoins. A lure module can be spotted because the Pokéstop is surrounded by a shower of rose petals.

Pokéstop: In real life it's a public monument as fountains, statues and such.

Pokécoins: Money that you can gain by levelling up and leaving your Pokémons to defend the gyms of your team.

Gyms and teams: There are three teams (make it easy by calling them Yellow, Blue and Red) and if a player of yellow team beats a gym of another team, the gym becomes yellow. You can leave your Pokémons there to defend the gym from the other players.

Lucky eggs: If you use a lucky egg, you'll get double the experience points (XP) 

Experience points: You get experience points by catching and evolving Pokémon. You need XP to level up and become stronger.
